Laura was our photographer for our wedding in December 2018. I cannot praise her and her work highly enough!! The photographs of our day were really important to us, as they would help us to always remember and look back at the special moments. I am so so glad and thankful that I found Laura! From the moment I got in touch, Laura was absolutely lovely, professional and so helpful. No question was too much or too silly! We arranged an engagement shoot and we had such a giggle and so much fun, she just made us feel so comfortable and relaxed and able to really be ourselves! What can we say about Laura? Well, if you are looking for a photographer to capture the essence of your day perfectly, she's the one. Not only is she wonderful to work with, so relaxed and unobtrusive, the quality (and quantity) of her photographs are absolutely breathtaking. We got married at the Red Lion at Burnsall on a a beautiful autumnal October day last year and we just couldn't be more delighted with our photographs. She captured the relaxed informality and happiness of our day perfectly. We have so many beautiful photographs, we just don't know where to start to choose our top 100 for our album. Happened across Laura by chance after opting for a whirlwind wedding at the venue of our dreams. With less than 12 weeks to the big day & getting wed 3 days before Christmas I was bombarded with pitiful looks & woeful remarks from past brides about ''not a chance of finding a decent photographer as this late stage'' & "you'll be lucky, everyone will be booked up months in advance, years even! ''. A quick search for Yorkshire Wedding Photographers in Google & there was Laura's page. I loved the hues of her photography, the images exuded natural comfortability & a romantic elegance that I wanted captured on our big day. With bated breath, I emailed my date anticipating being disappointed but a speedy reply confirmed the date was free. A couple of email exchanges & we paid our deposit. Laura was most helpful in the run-up to the day, ascertaining what we hoped to capture if we had specific group shots or any special requests. She even took contact numbers for the best man & bridesmaids etc to ensure on the day everyone was contactable! From the moment she arrived Laura was an absolute professional (in the best possible way) she faded effortlessly into the background, gave guidance when needed & suggested beautiful ideas for shots we could not have imagined we'd get. On top of all that she had an amazing ability to engage our camera shy 4 year old (the Percy Pigs were the icing on the cake) to have his picture taken & the results are beyond precious. Laura photographed our wedding in September and was simply amazing!! From our pre-wedding photo shoot through to the wedding day itself, she caught amazing moments for which we'll be forever grateful. Throughout it all she offered lots of help and guidance, and made everything feel so natural. We felt comfortable in the knowledge that we were in safe hands. Furthermore, Laura's experience and professionalism allowed us to relax and enjoy the best day of our lives!! I spent a very long time choosing a photographer; I looked through hundreds of photographers and their albums and Laura's work just stood out to us as being so consistently amazing throughout the whole day. We've just recently received our wedding pictures and I can honestly say they are some of the most beautiful images I've seen. A couple of years back Laura did our photos for our wedding day and from start of contact to finish she was professional, friendly and the quality of our photos were absolutely stunning. We decided to have some family photos with our 1 year old done recently and there was no else I wanted more to do them than Laura. He was very grumpy on the day and did not want to have his photos taken. Laura was so patient and going out of her way to dance and sing and entertain him. It's turns out photography is really important to me, Laura made that happens, with her enthusiasm, spirit and brilliant ability to keep us all relaxed and enjoying it. I just want to say the biggest thank you from the bottom of our hearts to Laura! She was absolutely incredible as our wedding photographer! Right from the get-go, she was just so lovely and friendly and as soon as we met up with her, we knew we wanted her to be part of our big day. We had an engagement shoot, which she was happy to hold on a Friday evening and the pictures were fabulous! She organised a second photographer for us for the day, and just made everything easy for us - which is exactly what you need when you're planning a wedding! On the day, I didn't even know Laura was snapping away half the time - very stealthy!! And our wedding preview pictures were sent to us two weeks after the wedding, and the full album sent two weeks after that. To say we're ridiculously thrilled with our pictures is the biggest understatement!! We couldn't have wished for anything better and we'll always be grateful!! I believe choosing a photographer is one of the most important parts of organising a wedding, after all, they are the ones that capture the fine details of your day. I trawled the internet and eventually came across Laura. We loved her style of photos and her examples of recent weddings were exactly as we wanted. Once we had met Laura in person, there was absolutely no hesitation in booking her, such a lovely lady with a true passion for photography. On the day, Laura was so professional and just went with the flow (she helped me into my dress and carried my lipstick around all day - thank you!), she was non intrusive so got some fabulous natural shots of our children and guests. We've recently got our proofs back. What can I say...... wow!! We couldn't be happier, they really are perfect. They tell our wedding day like a story. It's obvious what you want from a good photographer - great pictures at the end. Not only does Laura provide that but she has such a friendly yet professional personality which is so important. Laura was absolutely fabulous throughout our entire wedding. From the engagement photos to the day itself. It wasn’t just the quality of Laura’s photographs which made our choice such a perfect one, it was her soft, calm, relaxed and gentle manner throughout the whole experience which also made her the perfect choice.

All of Laura’s little surprises along the way were added bonuses and totally unexpected. The way she presented the photos when the memory stick arrived and the little extras in the box were just a joy to receive.

Laura is absolutely amazing!!!! She really was the perfect choice for our wedding photographs. Laura came to meet us at our home and we knew from that first meeting that we wanted her. She showed us her amazing work and got to know us as people.

The engagement shoot was fantastic and was invaluable as it showed us what it would be like on the day. Plus the pictures were absolutely stunning.

Laura's style on the day is exactly how it should be from a wedding photographer! I have been to some weddings where the photographer commanded the whole day. This was not Laura! So many of guests commented on how discrete she was yet also how friendly and kind she was. She really does capture all the perfect moments that need to be captured, ones that you as the bride and groom don't get to see.

Then you get the pictures and ... WOW! We've had so many lovely comments and I can't stop looking at them. The presentation box is perfect and such a lovely gift at the end.

Laura is worth every penny and you would be mad not to choose her!! We will definitely be using her for all future photography.

Laura is not just your average photographer, she is amazing! She got really stuck in and involved with our day without being intrusive or demanding. The images she has captured will stay with us forever and I cannot thank her enough for the quality photos she has provided.

We booked Laura to be our photographer while travelling in Australia, which meant that we had a Skype call to get to know her. From that call to the pre wedding shoot to the wedding day Laura has been amazing! Nothing was too much trouble including starting at 7.30am and Laura was still snapping away at 9pm! Our photos came thorough last week (less than 6 weeks since our wedding) which was fab as I was so impatient � and they are absolutely perfect. She couldn't of captured our wedding any better! Laura is excellent! From start to finish she made everything so easy and nothing was to much trouble - skype calls at 9pm and fitting in with our wedding planning schedule on the odd weekend home to plan.

It seems unfair that this only goes up to 5 stars because Laura has been absolutely outstanding - 10 stars would be more appropriate. Laura is not only the most talented photographer, but such a genuinely kind person. Planning a wedding is stressful, but planning my wedding in England while residing in the States added another dimension of challenges with most of my vendors like communication. However, Laura was quick to respond with every question & email I sent her way.

I don't like to have my picture taken, but Laura was like a ninja in the night & honestly most of the time I had no idea she was snapping away (which is a good thing!) She captured the raw moments, the laughs, the tears, the smiles, and the smalls things that mean so much.
