We were so impressed with Jan's service. Our collie is very sensitive and wary of anyone being too close but Jan was so patient and came to meet her before she did any grooming. She was calm, took her time and was very gentle with Jess. After 2 grooming sessions Jess looked so much better that we will definitely use Jan for regular brushing. Found this wonderful lady pretty close by to where we live so was fortunate for us. Our dog is not a good dog to groom even though he’s short haired he doesn’t like baths or hair drying so we decided to get a professional in this time. And we are over the moon with her. Not only is she professional in appearance but also in qualifications not just someone who washes dogs and calls themselves a groomer. She came fully equipped with all she needed to do the job all we supplied was a cup of tea ( milk no sugar) and with her being mobile it saves us trying to find the time to take the dog to a groomer and leave him in an unfamiliar place. Need my dog grooming urgently as he really did smell awful after rolling around in either my pond or some fox poop. Not sure which one it was but it needed a professional touch. He’s not the easiest dog to groom as he doesn’t like strangers much or baths or showers or soap or water or anything that makes him clean so after looking for a mobile one I came across Lacey. She booked me in after I explained what I needed and arrived fully equipped for battle. The dog absolutely loves her didn’t need any coaxing to get him under the shower he did exactly as she asked him to do. She’s extremely good at knowing how the dog is feeling if he’s anxious or nervous and if he needs a gentle touch. I was very impressed (takes a lot to impress me) and she did a great job. I can see my dog and Lacey will be having a long grooming relationship as I don’t think I would call any other groomer now I know how good she is with him. And she’s qualified too. Not just a dog washer but a true groomer. Made my smelly goat into a pretty boy again. I can’t recomend this girl enough she truly is the best groomer my dogs ever had and being mobile saves me having to take him to a shop where I know he will be nervous when I have to leave him.
