Doug did a great job as our wedding photographer from start to finish, as well as helping keep all the various groups of people organised - even though that was not part of the job description! We met up beforehand to go through the plan for the day so we knew exactly what to expect, and it helped us relax and plan ahead ourselves. We were at ease straight away and could tell we were in good hands.Our photos were brilliant - we are delighted with them. They were very subtle and classy & captured our guests and the atmosphere of the day perfectly. He also got some shots from high up in the church which we were not expecting which were fantastic. Doug was absolutely fantastic on our wedding day. He blended in perfectly with all of our guests and worked tirelessly throughout the day making sure he didn't miss a single moment. He was amazing at making people feel at ease, even though most people don't like having their pictures taken and he even took time out to make my grandma a cup of tea!At no point during the day did it ever feel like we had a camera pointed in our direction, which meant we could relax and enjoy it and be ourselves.When we got the pictures through from Doug they arrived in a cute presentation box on a USB stick and we were blown away by the quality of them and some of the moments he managed to photograph! He managed to capture our special day in the most perfect way and already we have had hours of enjoyment from looking back through the pictures and remembering every moment of it.In the lead up to the wedding and since the wedding, Doug has been brilliant at keeping in contact and nothing was ever too much trouble.Everybody that has seen our pictures has said they are the best wedding pictures they have seen and I would totally agree! I never imagined anybody would be able to capture moments that Doug did or even make me look photogenic! :-)I would highly recommend Doug for any special occasion and I can't wait to see our wedding album....once we have been able to choose 150 pictures out of the 528 that we received!An amazing photographer and great person :-) More...

Doug recently photographed our wedding and was fantastic. He captured some beautiful moments I didn’t even realise he was there for and our guests commented how brilliant they thought he was. I'm not one for having my photo taken without pulling a silly face, so Doug had a challenge considering I couldn't avoid the camera - I was one of the bridesmaids for this special day. Doug felt more like one of the guests rather than the photographer. We had a small wedding, just a dozen guests, but we still wanted photos of the occasion. Doug's style of photography was perfect for us.
