I started my studies with Armelle late 2019 at her home address in Chandlers Ford, which worked very well as she has the perfect setup, lots of material and tech to provide a great learning experience. Then came along Covid 19, at first I thought my lessons would come to an end, but not at all. Armelle embraced technology and offered on-line training which has become the Norm for my lessons over the past 18 months, this works so well that I’ve chosen to continue using this method. On-line training offers me flexibility and takes the pressure off travelling to meet appointment times, as I can logon anywhere and I still get Armelle teaching me! She is very patient and makes every lesson interesting and fun with plenty of material and obviously being native French, provides super insights into the French language and country. Margaret G…… I’m retired and wanted to learn some conversational French for holidays and to keep my brain active, I did French at school so had a bit of basic knowledge but Armelle makes learning fun and it’s nothing like school! We work through a workbook doing a variety of stories, conversations, listening, fill in the missing word etc. I do sessions with a friend so we share the cost and we can practice a bit with each other. Lessons are informal, fun and interesting ………sometimes we read magazine articles , emails, adverts, signs so learn about France and french life at the same time. Armelle is very patient and supportive too, flexible about dates and times and great sense of humour. If you’re thinking about trying something similar go for it! More...
