When we got engaged I had no idea where I wanted to get married. I just wanted to make sure our day was filled with high spirits, love and a good old knees up! I started to look at venues and was underwhelmed nothing I saw felt right. We wanted a venue that would let us be us, that didn’t make you feel like the next couple on the package wedding conveyor belt in at 8am and guests out by 12. We wanted to make it all last as long as possible. Then we stumbled across the Kingston Estate and everything fell into place! Kingston Estate as a venue has a class and vibe all of it’s own and when you add everyone you love to this it’s just the perfect match. We loved all the spaces available, especially the yurt which we decided to get married in. The Cottage accommodation was perfect to make this the most amazing Wedding weekender! Finishing with the Club style Undercroft we knew that this wedding was going to go off with a bang! We got married last Saturday and the comments and praise we have had from guests re the venue has been fantastic everyone loved the food, the setting and the feel of the day. They were so impressed by all the areas. We wanted to make sure we hosted the biggest party of our lives and Kington Estate made that dream come true! We are still on Cloud 9 no wedding blues for us. Kingston estate took our breath away when we first viewed it but nothing prepared us for how we would feel on our wedding day! The venue was everything and more and made our dreams come true! We got married on 29th June 2019 and it couldn’t have gone more perfectly. I had my dream wedding at Kingston, Marie-Anne and the team, you are amazing. Marie-Anne helped me the entire way along, we booked our wedding approximately 18 months in advance so we got to know each other quite well in that time! Myself and my partner got married here on the weekend. It was the most perfect setting and we had so many comments from our guests about how beautiful the grounds were. Having the different elements to our wedding in different areas - the marble hall, barn, undercroft etc made everything stress free. The outside area of the Linhay was just picturesque. We really enjoyed our weekend as we stayed from the Friday. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was delicious and the service was of an incredibly high standard. Guests enjoyed staying in the self catering cottages and were looked after well. Marie-Anne was completely helpful and supportive in every way and to every fine detail. We had our wedding in Kingston in mid-June 2019 and we were blown away by the overall experience. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for in terms of food, atmosphere, scenery and overall experience. We had sole use of the house for 2 days, and on both days, our party were the only people allowed in the venue, which was a huge plus. Marie - Ann and the rest of the staff were nothing but helpful in the run up and during the course of our weekend, we could not praise them enough. As a wedding venue, we could not fault anything. The food was out of this world on both days and all our guests commented on the quality of food on offer. The curry on the Friday night, the Pork, the dessert, the breakfast-it was all-amazing. We rented a cottage at short notice and were lucky enough that they had availability. We stayed in the 3 bedroom courtyard cottage which also had exclusive use of a hot tub. ||The cottage far exceeded our expectations in size and quality. It was immaculately clean. The very generous welcome pack was truly lovely with some local delicacies and a pint of milk in the fridge etc. Real coffee and tea bags etc. We all felt welcomed and we're able to have a cup of tea on arrival after a very long journey before fully unpacking. ||All of the bedrooms were charming and spacious but the master bedroom is really quite special as it is very spacious and pretty with lots of ancient beams in thw ceiling. A fantastic ensure bathroom. ||The main attraction for my three kids was the indoor swimming pool. Well it is small but perfectly formed. Not a pool for swimming lengths but my kids were in heaven splashing around for hours both morning and night. I liked it as the water was particularly warm so I could tolerate spending over an hour in the pool with the kids. ||The grounds to the estate are beautiful. Lots of really perfect corners to sit and enjoy the beauty and serenity of the estate. They have beautiful formal gardens and walled gadens and lovely open spaces. Their Web site shows you how lovely the outside spaces are. ||Getting to and from the estate is easy once you have been there. Lots and lots of very narrow single track lanes which are quite hilly. My sat nav had a field day around this area. I have been sent up and down country lanes that really didn't look like a proper road but always were. The biggest issue is always to keep an eye out for a passing point and very fast oncoming traffic from locals who know the roads well. ||Whilst we were at the estate we were able with great ease able to visit all of the attractions near by such as Dartmoor, Torquay and countless other charming small towns and villages. I haven't been to Devon for over a decade and forgot how beautiful Devon is.||Our welcome at the estate and in general in Devon was exceptional. The staff at the estate are very charming and helpful. They clearly like working in a positive and welcoming team and it was really noticeable even by my children who usually cloud their day to day existence through the fog of headphones and touchscreens.||Also of importance is that I did get a reasonable phone signal in the cottage and more or less usable 3 and 4 g data. The estate wide wifi worked well and was easily available which was an absolute deal breaker for the kids. ||Over all our stay at the kingston estate was one my favourite holidays of the year. I think that it was also exceptionally great value as the quality of their service and product could.be seen and felt through out our 5 day stay. ||| More...

We had a wonderful first family break with our ten month old son at one of the cottages on the Kingston Estate. The cottage was pristine as were all the fixtures and fittings. Baby gates, cot and a even gifts for us and our dog were provided. The grounds were amazing and we got some fabulous memorable photos. We left some washing behind by mistake and the owners of the Kingston Estate did everything in their power to get it returned to us (we threw it in the rubbish by mistake). We had lots of fun the pool and wandering around the spectacular grounds. We wouldnt hesitate to return again or recommend to our friends. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. My husband and I got married at Kingston Estate last month (October 2018) and we can honestly say it was the best day of our lives. The care and attention that we received from Marie-Anne and the Kingston staff, throughout the whole process was incredible. They are there with you every step of the way, to make sure your day is everything you want it to be. Our guests said it was the most stunning venue and the best wedding they have ever been to. They said there wasn't a single lull throughout the day, and every moment of the day flowed seamlessly. What an absolutely incredible venue. It was the first and only wedding venue we viewed; we immediately knew that there was no need to see anymore. I was adamant that I was going to get married outside in the walled garden, but unfortunately the weather was not too kind to us. After setting up and decorating the Marble Hall my disappointment of not getting married outside disappeared as it is such a beautiful room and creates an intimate ceremony; perfect for us. It is rare to find a venue that equally caters for good and bad weather. It was amazing to be able to drag the day out and have all our family and friends with us at the venue on Friday evening, where we started the party earlier. I also loved that we moved around throughout the day; not being stuck in one room all day is such a relief! They are so flexible and working with a blank canvas you can make your wedding exactly how you want it. Marie-Anne is incredible. So, so helpful and ensures the day runs perfectly. We honestly didn’t have to worry about anything at all; she is always one step ahead and on top of everything. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The one we had had a lot of the timber framed walls and the meat hooks are still in the ceiling of what is now the kitchen. A perfect combination of ancient and modern done with taste. I note that several people have complained about the doors not closing well. Is that really a problem when you are sharing with others you presumably know - after all you've booked it together! Bathrooms and shower room locks in our cottage worked well, so personally don't see an issue. More...

There are some things which are such big undertakings that you wonder if they can ever live up to the expectations created in your own mind. Rather than fall victim to this pressure, Kingston Estate delivers more as a wedding venue than you could ever anticipate. It is a stunningly beautiful venue, and laid out on a scale which facilitates every component for a wedding you could wish for. The range of facilities on offer and the overall standard of the buildings, inside and out, delivers a phenomenal sense of luxury without the sharp edge of pretence. The staff too go above and beyond and leave you feeling very well taken care of. The wedding you want is their priority, not a particular wedding which might be being sold to you. Cru provided food worth writing home about, including roast potatoes which risked eclipsing the whole wedding, and again the personalisation of the service shines through throughout. There is arguably a certain fallacy in burdening any particular day of one’s life with the title of ‘best’ or ‘most important’. Whether or not we were to entertain such titles for our incredible wedding, we are delighted beyond doubt that Kingston Estate provided the setting for it. My Wife and I got married at Kingston Estate at the start of September. We had the most amazing wedding weekend and it was everything we had ever wished for. Our thoughts were shared by all of our guests who all couldn't believe this little gem was out in Staverton.

The venue has everything..... The Manor House, Gardens, Barn, Undercroft Nightclub just to name a few and all of which is maintained to an extremely high standard by Marie-Anne and the rest of The Kingston Estate Team.

We both couldn't recommend Kingston Estate enough, and if you ever visit for a viewing you will struggle to leave without booking it for your own wedding ........ It just has the WOW FACTOR !!!!!!

Well what can I say.....a week ago today I married my best friend at the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. I cannot thank Marie-Anne, Jamie, Sarah and the Kingston team enough, our day was truly spectacular from the moment we partied on the Friday right through to the Sunday when we left. Marie-Anne did an amazing job of running everything on the Friday and especially the Saturday it went perfect, even in the heat we had it was truly the most amazing day.
