Darren at Killpest Pest Control Services was fantastic. We called him to help us with a wasp nest and field mice in our loft. He came that day. He was extremely friendly, reliable, professional and very helpful, answering all my questions and putting my worries and concerns to rest. As stupid as it sounds, I really hate killing anything, however he advised me that he uses humane poisons which helped in the process. He returned 10 days later to review the progress. Really recommend Killpest! Called them about a rat problem and Darren came round first thing the next day. Hes very friendly and has 30 years experience, which is very clear to see. Hes knowledgable and explained everything to us as he was doing it. Came back around 10 days later to check on progress and looks like our problems solved. Wasp nest in dormer roof. Phoned Killpest Sunday, appointment made for Tuesday 9am. Darran turned up on time dispensed the powder, wasps in a bit of a frenzy and gone by the end of the day. Thank you.

After using a recommended company via the council (3 visits and problem got worse!) I rang Darran as we had used him previously for a wasps nest. The rat problem was at my elderly mum in laws (she has dementia) and Darran came there the same evening to help us out. He could tell how stressed we were as the rat/rats were now being very destructive indoors and making my mum in law Ill. Darran checked the ‘whole’ house to see where the problem could be. The amount of time and effort he put in to reassure us both was fantastic. So much poison went down all over the house in places we would never have thought of! After Darrans visit he rang me the next morning to see how mum in law was as he was genuinely concerned how she had been affected. I also had to ring Darran again on several occasions just because I was worried and he put my mind at rest as he had ‘put enough poison down to kill the rats and all their friends!’ I cannot thank him enough. The rat problem has gone! (took a bit longer as they were well established) Mum in law was really grateful as was I of the time Darran spent with us both and to eliminate the problem. Mum in laws quote ‘those first people that came were useless! Thank goodness for Darran!’ Friend for life now! 100% recommended don’t use anyone else!! More...

We had two nests and the bigger nest with 20 mins wasp madness as the magic powder starts to work and the next morning a pile of over 50 dead including the Queen . We unfortunately had a problem with rats, called Darren and he was with us within a few hours (despite it being a Saturday! ) Darren was friendly, professional and clearly knows his stuff. He was very mindful of our son and pets when setting the bait,leaving us feeling very confident. He returned after a week, and ratties now appear to be gone, phew!
