I have used keynest now for three years and the service is excellent . Recently I had guests (I Airbnb my flat ) who left with the key and they answered the phone immediately and helped me with a potentially difficult situation I highly recommend

Excellent service, I can recommend this company as it provides a safe way to monitor keys when they are picked up and delivered. You can have muli codes or one general one. It's up to you. I had my first and only experience with Key Nest when I booked an apartment for one night through Booking.com (the least said about them the better! ).On the night before we travelled I received multiple emails from booking.com, one of which was asking me to verify my ID by uploading a photo of my passport and a video of me shaking my head! Whilst I thought this was utterly pointless and added no value at all (what's wrong with bringing ID with me?) I tried to do it. It wouldn't work. I tried again but it still wouldn't work.The next day, as we were about to leave, I messaged booking.com to say that I hadn't done it and I trusted that it would not be an issue. I received a very unhelpful response saying that I could not get my keys without it!So, after two more failed attempts, and when I should have been on the road an hour before, I phoned Key Nest and spoke to two individuals who were both very helpful. I explained that it just was not working and we were considering not travelling because we couldn't risk a 120 mile trip only to be told when we got there that we could not get our keys. The upshot was that one of the agents gave me his personal number so that I could send the information to him via WhatsApp. He then sent me the key code straight back. So, thanks to Key Nest, we were able to attend our concert and I am very grateful for the pragmatic approach taken. They certainly turned around a very stressful situation. I do think though that the process of having to upload a photo and video needs looking at because it does rather assume that everyone has a smart phone. What do you do if you don't? I don't understand why you cannot just take some form of ID with you when you collect the keys. This was booked through my booking.com account which is password protected so surely emailing the code and then asking for ID on arrival would suffice. This is such a great service! A friend of mine was coming into town at very short notice and needed access to my flat. I used KeyNest to get my keys to her and it was so simple. The drop off location was right next to the underground station, and on my way to work. It has long opening hours so I could drop it off early before work. If it hadn’t been for KeyNest, I would have probably had to take time off work or my friend would have had to spend night in hotel. Super convenient. Would definitely recommend! More...

This is super convenient! The biggest headache for me when doing AirBnb was the handover of the key to the guests and cleaner as we are always away when renting on AirBnb. This has taken all the stress out of that. The local KeyNest is actually on the way to my apartment from the local tube station so guests have to pass by it on their way anyway. My guests who collected keys said that it was really easy and convenient as well which I was pleased to hear. I would absolutely recommend this service. Used Keynest for the first time for my Airbnb as I wasn't in London to welcome my guests. They arrived on Christmas Day, so didn't really have other possibilities to get the keys to them. Everything was great, gave my keys to a shop in Paddington that was open and gave my guests the collection code. Used keynest to drop off my keys for a friend when I was going out of town. Love the service and the options available. If you're a regular user, your keys will get a fob to easily identify the set so people managing them get the right set of keys. If you're not a regular user or using it one off as a service, amazingly that's still all right and they'll charge you a pay per use which is a great option and shows they're not just geared towards airbnb rentals.Would totally recommend this service. I used the Key Nest at St. Pancras station to pick up keys for an Airbnb and at first I thought the owners had just left them with a friend who worked there, but then I found out it was a whole system! I gave the employee the code and the app told them which set of keys to give me; it was super quick and easy and I was very impressed! I had to go on a business trip and take an early train, so I wasn't able to give the keys to my guests in person. I googled the options and stumbled over KeyNest. The website and their system looked pretty easy to use and so I gave it a try. I dropped my keys on Sunday evening in a KeyNest location and I was notified by Email when my guests picked them up on Monday morning.
