Hello There,

My name is Kerry and I am a private fully qualified (ABRSM) private Piano and Singing Tutor with over 25 years experience myself in playing the piano and singing and over 7 years experience in teaching private Music Lessons . My Musical Education included attending Trinity College of Music at both Bond Street and then at Greenwich Maritime on a full scholarship to study both Classical Piano and Classical Singing studies.

Today, I split my time between private teaching students of all ages and levels to play the Piano and or Sing and on my own musical projects (including writing, producing and performing my own work). I am very passionate about Music and find it very rewarding to help students to learn the fundamentals of learning Piano or the art of Singing correctly. It is very important that each student feels comfortable and relaxed when having lessons as there is quite a lot of learning (both theory and practical) simultaneously to be done. Therefore it is absolutely fundamental to me that the learning experience is just as much fun for the student as it is hard work, as I find it brings the best ability out in their performances as it did mine when I was learning.

I am happy to teach both Adults and Children, Beginners, those wanting to learn Grades and equally those who just want to learn as a hobby.

I a mobile tutor and therefore I would conduct your lessons in the convenience of your own home.

You would ideally need a piano (for the lesson and for regular daily practise between lessons) or if you have a keyboard that is absolutely fine however it would ideally have 88 weighted keys to help replicate the "feel" of the keys on a real piano. Beginners would preferably need a keyboard with a minimum of 61 keys to play on but if you are unsure about what type of practise piano/keyboard is best then please feel free to ask me.


I generally advise having regular half hour lessons (per student) on a weekly basis as regular daily practise and repetition are key when learning any instrument.
