Q&As

Traditional Western doctors spend an average of 10 minutes with each patient. TEN MINUTES!!! That seems crazy to me. How can you really get to know your patient and truly figure out what other underlying issues can be going on in ten minutes??
My work is different between each session as well as each and every day. No two days are the same, just like neither are two clients. Even though my style stays the same, the work I do for each session varies. Since I run my own business, I also have the opportunity of switching gears from doing the actual service, to creating marketing campaigns, client relations and management, laundry, cleaning, and other business and office tasks.

When my partner Andy was first diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in 2014, I felt as if I was dying inside - we later married, it was our way of turning our friends and families frowns upside down.
I decided to re-train as a Massage Therapist after receiving Complimentary Therapy when I was a Full-Time Carer for my husband. During these sessions I could quite simply, Relax, for an hour it was all about my needs, which may sound slightly selfish, but being a carer is selfless, its about putting their needs above your own. Complimentary therapies helped me find balance, peace and relaxation. This is why I do what I do, to help you store your balance and boost your mental well-being.

As a mobile therapist you have the luxury of having the treatment in the comfort of your own home. Which takes away the stress of travelling to and from your Therapist's Clinic. Having a client in an environment where they feel comfortable can promote relaxation, and may help prolong the beneficial effects of the massage therapy session.

Professional, person-centred treatments.
Fully Insured.
Appointments arranged to suit you.

I am always happy to talk to clients between treatments, either on the telephone or via email. Offering further aftercare advice, stretching exercises, breathing techniques, all of which I advise on after every treatment, as a matter of course anyway. But always happy to help clients with any issues that may arise.

COVID-19 related screening questions to be asked of clients ahead of their appointments:
- Have you had the recent onset of a new continuous cough?
- Do you have a high temperature?
- Have you noticed a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell?
- I will check your temperature when upon arrival, if you fail to inform me prior to my arrival, I will no option than to cancel your appointment.
- Encouraging clients to use hand sanitiser or hand washing facilities as they enter my premises or before treatment.

- Calculating the maximum number of clients I can treat each day, limiting the number of appointment at any one time.

- When booking an appointment, asking the client to attend on their own, where possible.

- Operating an appointment-only system.
- Encouraging clients to arrive at the time of their scheduled appointment.

Indian head massage is an ancient complementary therapy, based on the ayurvedic system of healing. This gentle form of massage therapy is part of Indian family life. This form of massage focuses on the three higher "chakras" - Mind, Body and Spirit and as such hits your energy epicentre.

Indian head massage focusses on your head, neck and shoulders and was originally used to improve scalp and hair condition. It is a deep massage, using a variety of pressure and techniques, including circular massage strokes on your scalp, deep tissue work on your shoulders, and stretching the neck.

Deep tissue massage does exactly what it says 'on the tin' - it is a massage technique that works on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
Similar to Swedish massage, deep tissue massage uses slower and firmer strokes and pressure than other treatments - deep finger pressure concentrates on particular areas, and follows or goes across the fibres of the muscles and tendons.

Sports massage involves the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. When a person exercises, their body is subjected to various types of physical loading and following such activities, with the right amount of rest, the body's systems adapt to cope with the increased stresses placed on them.
Sports massage utilises deep tissue techniques, with the aim of reducing muscular tension, discomfort and pain. Although sports participants benefit from sports massage, this method of massage isn't restricted to sport participants, as the deep tissue massage techniques used can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions, such as:
Muscular and joint injuries such as sprains and strains,
Postural related pain,
Headaches,
Whiplash,
Golfers and tennis elbow,
