My dog died in Patrick's care due to negligence on his behalf and the business has not given us proper answers as to why this happened.

We still don’t have answers. Patrick has not explained why Magnus wasn’t secured properly or why he didn’t rush him for immediate medical attention. Rather, Patrick has continued to operate and likely hasn’t invested in additional safety measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Unfortunately, this industry isn't regulated and it needs to be to avoid things like this happening.

PLEASE READ – MY DOG DIED DUE TO PATRICK’S NEGLIGENCE

I have held off on posting this as I am still recovering from these extremely traumatic events. Also, I did not want to hamper any action against Patrick but it has become clear over the past couple of months that he has zero decency as we remain without answers.

In December, Patrick collected our 12-month old puppy Magnus to go for a walk. After around 15 minutes, Patrick returned to our home with Magnus in his arms having suffered extreme injuries. Magnus was bleeding profusely and it was clear he had been seriously injured. Magnus was struggling to breathe and anyone with even an ounce of common sense would see that he needed urgent care, never mind someone who claims to know about caring for dogs.

However, rather than taking Magnus for immediate veterinary attention, Patrick brought him back to our house and effectively dumped him on us. We immediately rushed Magnus to the nearest veterinary practice but he died in my partner’s arms on the way. From speaking with the vet, Magnus had been subjected to particularly extreme head trauma and died quickly.

I understand that freak accidents happen but this is a severe case of professional negligence and is entirely down to Patrick’s incompetency and lack of due care. Magnus should have been properly secured in a crate and the back door should have been closed properly. Patrick should only have been transporting the number of dogs his van was designed to carry at any one time. Neither of these happened and it appears as though Magnus was just thrown in the van without being restrained at all.

Further, Patrick did not take Magnus directly to the vets for medical attention. Rather, he brought him back to our house and dumped him on us. We had to wrap Magnus in whatever blankets we could find and race to the nearest vets, only for him to die along the way. We have had our car professionally cleaned many times since that day but it is still impossible to drive without seeing and smelling the blood from Magnus’ many traumatic injuries. Patrick claims to be an expert with dogs but somehow could not see, or did not care, that my 12-month old puppy needed immediate medical attention and so we had to deal with Magnus dying in our arms.

We still don’t have answers. Despite taking action against Patrick he still has not explained why Magnus wasn’t secured properly or why he didn’t rush him for immediate medical attention. Rather, Patrick has continued to operate and likely hasn’t invested in additional safety measures to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Unfortunately, this industry isn't regulated and it needs to be to avoid things like this happening.

I am not writing this out of spite. But Magnus was our entire life for the very short time we had him and trusting Patrick is the biggest mistake I have ever made. The man is a charlatan. If you choose to use this business regardless, that is entirely up to you, but I deeply hope that nobody has to experience what we are currently living with due to Patrick’s negligence.
I have images and evidence for every claim made in this post so if you need further information please feel free to reach out.

Patrick walks our energetic Cocker Spaniel and sends us photos and videos of his experience, also gives us recommendations on recall training and resource guarding as well as many others. He will not do anything new with the pups until he has your permission. Our Charlie loves his walks with Patrick! Would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a dog walker in the area. More...

I’ve a reactive dog, when he met Patrick he went mental as he always does, Patrick did all the right things and Kai calmed down the quickest if ever seen. Patrick lives dog’s as his own and truely understand dog behaviours. I just wished I stayed a bit closer so he could walk my furries! More...

We were looking for a dog walker for our new dog Buddy and Patrick came to the rescue! As a Spanish Water Dog, he can by his nature be aloof with strangers but Patrick was unfazed and took him out on his first walk today. From all the photos and updates Patrick sent, Buddy looks to have had a ball. I would recommend Patrick to anyone looking for a walker. More...
