Best in the business... Jacqui always does an amazing job and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of both us and our dog. Brauk is a fiesty wee Chihuahua and isn't great with other dogs but Jacqui knows the right approach with him and does an excellent job time after time. We have used Jacqui's home boarding twice now for our cocker spaniel. He went into the house happily from the word go and obviously felt very much at home. Jacqui is clearly very fond of the dogs and they all seem very comfortable with her. My dog also really enjoyed the company of the other dogs. The property is well set out and the garden is great. Jacqui sent some photos and videos while we were on holiday which was lovely and very reassuring.I have no hesitation in recommending K9 friends for home boarding. More...

We have been going to Jacqi for three years now and have always received a first class service.We had issues with previous groomers in particular one well known store. We went to Jacqi and she managed to groom our very nervous Bearded Collie, Rocky. Jacquie done an amazing job of cutting my Cavachon Gizmo. He was matted due to cancelled appointments at another groomer so had to cut him short, but even then made sure she saved what she could and he looks cute as he can!

After moving to West Lothian I tried many groomers for my Cavachon but he never seemed to like any until he met Jacqui at K9 friends and now he's happy to go for a trim. In fact he runs to the car. l board my dog, Diamond, with Jacqui at least twice a year. Diamond has been going her holidays to Jacqui's for 3 years now and as soon as we let her out the car she runs straight to the front door, tail wagging! Jacqui also baths and grooms Diamond who is a 65kg Bernese Mountain Dog so its not an easy task! Jacqui knows Diamond so well, she knows when she needs a rest and will normally groom her over a couple of days so she doesnt get stressed! Only thing is Diamond isnt that excited when we go to pick her up, she obviously enjoys her time with Jacqui, but thats fine as we know Diamond is not only being looked after but is being loved! Jacqui has grooming skills second to none. She is a perfectionist with many years experience and it shows in the results. Jacqui always includes me as the owner in her thinking process on what would be best for my dogs grooming needs . Would happily recommend her to anyone. Although I haven’t used Jacqui’s walking or boarding yet, I have frequently walked my dogs with her when she is out walking her clients dogs. She walks all the correct dogs with each other to ensure every one of them enjoys their walk fully. Jacqui always knows who is a bit slower or who needs a bit more encouragement. She knows every dogs temperament and how to encourage them to listen to her on the walk. I’ve also seen Jacqui interacting with her boarder dogs at her home and she treats them all the same as her own dog Max. Another great experience for Brodie -having his coat trimmed by Jacqui. He arrived home this afternoon looking a very dapper cocker spaniel . ......and very calm and happy.We have used Jacqui's grooming service and home boarding service for a good few years now and both services have been exemplary. Jacqui makes such a fuss of Brodie and he loves it. We never have any problems with him when he goes to have his hair cut. Can’t recommend Jacqui enough. We’ve had our dogs in for dog boarding every holiday over 10 years. We would actually rather cancel a holiday than put them anywhere else. Jacqui is incredible with them. One of our dogs was poorly during one visit(existing condition) and Jacqui took him to the vet and took amazing care of him.One of our other dogs was very nervous and we noticed improvements in his confidence after every visit.This is a full service, the dogs are loved, integrated into Jacqui’s life and exercised well. Jacqui also has a massive garden too which they love. We also get Jacqui to give them a wee clip and nail trim too, so when we go to collect them they also look (and smell) better than when we handed them in!Genuinely can’t recommend enough. More...

Our dog Diamond who is a Bernese Mountain Dog, has been going to Jackie for her holidays and for grooming for 3 years now. The best thing for us when we take Diamond is that she gets out of the car and runs straight to Jackie's door, bouncing and wagging her tail! For anyone leaving their dog when they go on holiday, it's a big thing knowing thatyour dog is going to be happy and well looked after. Jacqui Looked after our boys at short notice and treated them like her own dogs so much so when we arrived back to collect them they were just relaxing around Jacqui's lounge like it was their own house, the boys enjoyed it it so much they have rebooked several more holidays with auntie Jacqui. and the boys dad liked it even more as the dogs have long coats Jacqui had washed and groomed them ready to go home and give dad a few days away from the grooming brush so a perfect experience for all . Jacqui has been our dog walker and home boarder for approximately 4 years. Our dogs look forward to going for the regular walk with her. Another service she provides is home boarding and are happy to stay with her and particularly love her large garden. Dogs are so well looked after as a home from home so you can relax on your holiday knowing your pets are in good hands and well cared for. We have been using K9 friends since 2008, as a dog walking service for the 1st 5 or so years & then as a boarding service on an intermittent basis. We were very pleased & happy with the dog walking service & would have continued if it had been possible. Since then we have found the boarding facility extremely useful & the provider has always been most accommodating often taking us at short notice & taking a compassionate view of the circumstances under which we were using & this was greatly appreciated. We have also had the benefit of the grooming service which has been of high quality. In general we have found the provider professional, helpful & trustworthy. She is very good with the dogs. Our Bearded Collie Rocky has now been groomed twice by Jacqui and he looks fabulous. He had previously had some bad experiences and on one occasion came home with half his coat cut so we were very apprehensive about going but Jacqui was very patient, confident and calm when dealing with Rocky. At the last visit he was excited when my husband drove up to Jacqui's house quite a turnaround!
