I have used a number of architects over my 40-year career, with my main frustration being their lack of communication during the design process.

I instructed Wai in connection with my problematic application to construct a pair of semi-detached dwellings in my "green belt" garden. Wai kept in constant communication with me throughout the design and application process having come up with an attractive well conceived design, even considering the planning advantages of environmentally friendly "Passivhaus" designs.

An excellent and professional service from K Projects. Wai worked with me to get the exact design I wanted for my extension and kept me informed of progress throughout the design and planning application process.

KProjects have once again delivered a professional job for our latest project. I first hired Wai back in 2010 to design a downstairs bathroom extension at a previous property.

He has now designed and submitted planning drawings for my new 1930's property which was in need of a redesign to bring it up to modern day standards.

My initial brief was to redesign the rear of the property to give us more space, expanding the existing ground floor kitchen to create an open plan kitchen/ dining area and to explore options to expand the our first floor bathroom.

Based on our initial brief I was provided with three options. A minimum modification/ cost option, a mid range option and an enhanced option which showed us what could be possible if we pushed our initial brief a little further.

In the end after a few modifications including communication with an structural engineer I decided to go for the enhanced option as it would delivered us more space.

I have found Wai to be very professional on all levels, always pointing out where any enhancements could be made, identifying any problems that could arise and providing solutions on how to resolve them.

I’m extremely happy with the end design and look forward to work beginning on site soon early next year. More...
