I couldn't have been happier with Jo as my MUA for my wedding day. From the start, she was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and knew exactly the kind of makeup look I was after. She was fab on the wedding morning at calming my nerves, it felt like having a mate there, and she even helped deal with a last minute bridesmaid dress related drama! The bridesmaids and I were chuffed and the makeup lasted the whole night.

I really can't recommend Jo enough. At the end of July, she did my make up as well and my bridesmaids' and my mum's. Jo was so friendly and down to earth from the very beginning. During the trial she listened to me and didn't mind that I was a total fuss pot about the eye make up! Jo was patient and had lots of suggestions about the different looks I could go for. We had lots of giggles along the way and she made me feel really relaxed.

On the day, Jo was a great person to have around whilst we were getting ready and made everyone feel at ease. Her products worked well on all of our skin and lasted all day and night. We were all so happy with the finished look.

I would highly recommend Jo to anyone looking for someone professional, talented and good fun to do their make up.

Jo was absolutely amazing. The make up was perfect for myself ( bride), the bridesmaid and my mum! We all loved it and it stayed on all day and night. Jo did a fantastic job with the make up for myself and my sister for my wedding day and even provided some lip gloss and sparkle for our young bridesmaid. As someone who doesn't often wear makeup she provided a really natural look that looks great on the photos. She really helped keep things relaxed and we had a lot of fun getting ready. Jo did the make-up for myself, my two bridesmaids, mum and granny last week for my wedding. Having met Jo previously whilst photographing another wedding she was working on I knew she was the kind of supplier I wanted to hire for my own wedding as she was really down to earth and a great laugh!

My mum and I had a trial which was brilliant, and even though I don't wear a lot of make up day to day and certainly hadn't had my make-up professionally done before, I really enjoyed it and Jo was great - she knew exactly what would suit me even though I didn't have a clue, and was also patient with me when I couldn't decide on lip colours!

The make-up on the day was fantastic, it lasted all day without us having to do anything other than top up our lippy! Jo worked with our skin types and one of my party's wish to only use cruelty free brands and I was so chuffed with how it all turned out, everyone looked fantastic. I cannot recommend Jo enough. As someone who doesn't often wear makeup I was a little anxious about finding someone for my wedding make up but from the moment I started talking to Jo I knew i didn't need to worry. Jo was friendly and quick in her replies, explaining her work and offering tips on how to prepare my skin for the day too. During the make up trials she spent time with each one of us and offered lots of different ideas, it completely reassured me that I had made the right decision. On my wedding day Jo did make up for myself, 3 bridesmaids, mum and mother in law - she was absolutely fantastic and didn't leave us until just before the wedding. Jo was simply amazing! As someone who doesn't wear huge amounts of makeup I was a little unsure about having a Makeup Artist on the day of my wedding but having Jo made it super easy. We discussed everything I was after during my trial, she knew exactly what she was doing matching products to my skin type whilst talking me through everything she was using. From the minute we met at Calke Abbey wedding show I knew Jo was the one to beautify me for my big day and I wasnt wrong!! My trail was amazing and she really put me at ease about everything and what would happen on the day, as a non make up wearer that was really important to me and meant a lot.

My wedding morning itself was pretty eventful but Jo braved all the snow we'd had and still managed to get to us bright and early being her lovely bubbly self! I felt and looked beautiful on my wedding (even if I do say so myself haha!) My mum and bridesmaids looked incredible too! More than that though, Jo kept me calm despite all the craziness that happened that morning so I really can not thank her enough! Josephine did my make up for my wedding in June. She is incredibly friendly, reassuring and calming person and was great to have around in the morning of the wedding. During my trial she listened exactly what I wanted and she did my make up beautifully, we worked together to make sure that the eyeshadow and lipstick were the colour I really wanted and she provided lots of options. I would have no hesitation in recommending Josephine to other people for their make up, she did an amazing job and I had lots of compliments on how natural my make up looked and it stayed on all day! What can I say about Jo..... from the moment I first met her for my trial she was absolutely amazing. She’s so lovely and easy to talk to you feel like you’ve been friends with her for years! I don’t usually wear much make up but I wanted to look “flawless “ for my wedding day and that is exactly what Jo did. I don’t think there’s much she doesn’t know about make up and knew straight away what colours would suit me, advised me and talked me through the whole process, constantly asking if I was happy with what she was doing. On my actual wedding day she was such a calming influence for me when the nerves started to get the better of me, she was fantastic! My Bridesmaids make up was stunning again Jo listened to what they wanted, and worked with them all the time.
