I like my job.
I’m very much a people person, quick to form a rapport with clients and subjects alike. I pride myself on being very easy to work with and my love and wide-ranging experience of photography is evident in everything I do.
Since becoming a pro photographer in 2004 I've had the pleasure of working with many agencies, companies and household brands, across a wide range of sectors.

Firstly, Jon was very responsive. He responded quickly to my quote request. His portfolio looked great - you'll recognise some of the faces in there!
We arranged the shoot over the phone and via email. We needed some photos for a new website we're launching. This involved some street photography of a subject in SE London. Jon listened to the brief. We had to ask Jon to make some last minute changes to the itinerary, which he dealt with without fuss.
He arrived at the location spot on time, and then proceeded to take a fantastic selection of photos, which totally landed the brief - and some.
Would thoroughly recommend. We hope to work with Jon again.

Jonathan was quick to respond and even though timings meant we couldn’t work together on this occasion, he was able to give really useful, practical tips to assist anyway.
Such a brilliant portfolio if work too.
Really lovely to deal with. Thank you.

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
This is a very broad question! It all depends what the photograph is of, really. For anything involving people, I'd say the secret is to get everyone comfortable and relaxed and let them just be their natural selves on camera. It's then my job to see and capture those magic moments and interactions. For still life or product photography it can involve hours of setup time and tweaking of lights before the shot is ready to be taken. However, what covers all aspects of taking a great photograph is simply care and craft, putting in the time to make things as great as they can be - then always looking to make things just that little bit better.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
First and foremost, "What do you want/need to get from the shoot?" That is absolutely paramount. Everything else flows from this.
What do you love most about your job?
Everything really! I love the variety of work, I love meeting new people all the time, and I love the opportunity to travel too. It's a brilliant career. Not without it's challenges of course, but I can't imagine wanting to do anything else as much as photography.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My life-long love of photography. Desire to push myself to see if I could become a professional photographer. Happy to say I could!
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm widely experienced, super-professional, diligent, creative and most importantly of all, really easy to work with.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
Yes, certainly. I can shoot product shots/interiors remotely and share images with Clients as we go. Shooting portraits obviously has to be done in person!
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Following the latest Government guidance at all times. Social Distancing, face coverings and hand gel.
