I am keen on sailing and tennis. During lockdown I want to maintain and develop my fitness strength balance and flexibility. I have been training with Joe for 95 days now. I had previously lost a lot of weight by myself, but like many, covid saw my weight creeping (more like galloping) up. I chose to do Joe's 90 day online programme, and in that time I have lost 20lb and about 24cms. Joe has made sure my programme has me training smarter, im still enjoying wine, chocolate and crisps and I find Joes support invaluable. It is 99 days till Xmas. COVID-19 happened and Joe was like a god send, I would recommend him 100%. When lockdown started, I was stuck because I hated working out at home and I couldn’t motivate myself. Tried Instagram live workouts but by the end of the workout I was just watching it instead of working out. 5 weeks into lockdown I decided to see if an online PT would help and oh my goodness it did. I find most PT’s very arrogant and don’t really care about their clients or their needs but Joe’s been amazing. I told Joe my goals and what I needed from my workouts and he has more then delivered. I'm so glad I found Joe! He is very professional, friendly (easy to talk to) and he really listens (I'm Brazilian, so he has to make an effort :P) to you to find out what your goals are, what you are going through in life to always adapt the training to your needs. I was looking for a pt to train one-to-one because I was struggling to start exercising again (on my own) and get back into shape. Well, I still have a "long road to run"... But Joe is always motivating me to stick with the exercise program and the diet. I've been training with him for 8 months now and I do love to get up in the morning those 2 days a week to my sessions! :) Joe will make sure that you are working hard to achieve your goals. Sometimes it feels like a torture but in the best way! Ahahaha I'm feeling stronger than ever, breaking my personal records and improving every time. What else can I say... I highly recommend Joe! I trained with Joe for three months three times a week whilst home from working abroad for a few months. I've worked with other trainers before and Joe was easily the best, balancing pushing me hard and making the sessions enjoyable perfectly. I went from 66kg to 71kg and dropped from 10% to 9% bodyfat, surpassing my goals for the training. Joe also made a training plan for me now that I'm away again which is really helping me keep my fitness at the level I want. I had joined the gym and wasn't seeing the right results and ended up feeling more self conscious! After hours of trawling through PTs in Brighton I cam across Joe. .. I liked his clear advice and guidance straight away from the website, and once I saw some of the testimonials and before/after pics I was really keen in meeting with him. The consultation was great, he made me feel really at ease - and with a Wedding less than 8 months away we had a clear goal to work towards. So far I have been training with Joe for 7 months, the results are great - I am toned, I have great muscle definition, more strength and my overall energy has improved! My wedding is in 2 weeks and I am feeling really great about it! Joe gives exercises to complete at home, and always gives nutritional advice to help with achieving your overall goal! Just wanted to update this since my last review as previously I had only been training with Joe for 6 weeks and it's now been 6 months! Well, 6 months on I am 15lb lighter and toning up nicely. Joe is a great personal trainer and has given me the motivation I needed to ditch the 'Dad Bod' for good. Joe's experience and knowledge is second to none and he mixes up my workouts outs and exercise routines so that every muscle group is targeted to achieve the best results. I'm enjoying it so much that I now put in an extra session on my own as I am growing in confidence (and size :-) and have even started playing weekly football again, something I haven't done for over 20 years!My original goal was to lose weight but as I am now approaching my target weight my focus will switch to muscle growth and I look forward to Joe helping me on this journey for the foreseeable future.Joe has a private gym studio in Brighton & Hove so you get 1 on 1 personal training without interruption or feeling intimidated by others. I have been working with Joe for a few years now , originally I joined Joe's outdoor bootcamp a very unfit lady in her 40's ! I am so much fitter now and this is all down to Joe. He is very professional and experienced but makes the work out fun too. I would never push myself as much as I do when I with Joe. I have had numerous injuries over the past few years and he always tailors the routines around these. I also attend a session on a Sat with my partner and so I would recommend for both individual or couples sessions. I have been seeing Joe for 1 on 1 PT sessions for the last 2 years to help me deal with fitness related midlife crisis issues as I hit 40 and beyond. .. I work from home and struggle to fit in exercise around work and family commitments so having Joe as a PT has helped maintain a consistent level of varied and focused exercise as part of my routine and I feel much better for it. I have been training with joe now for over 18 months and so far I have lost over 2 stone gained a wealth of knowledge regarding exercise and have become a lot more confident in the gym oh and also toned up considerably! !! . Prior to training with joe I was just on an endless roundabout of cardio but through the professional guidance from joe all that has changed if you are looking for a trainer LOOK NO FURTHER joe is brilliant at what he does very motivated and client forced whatever your level of fitness he has a really well equipped private studio and is very easy to get along with . I really enjoyed working with Joe. He's incredibly knowledgeable and
motivational without being patronising or shouty.
But, make no mistake, he works you hard. He listens to your goals and every session is tailored to you.
Plus, he gets results - you get out what you put in and he makes it easy to put in the effort.

I have been seeing Joe for a couple of years now, when I started my fitness level was pretty low and my health was/is not great. Joe has helped me build up my core strength and I have increased my weekly sessions with him. Honestly, if you're looking for a personal trainer, look no further. Joe is brilliant! Not only does he create amazing workouts specifically for your needs, he also makes you feel 100% comfortable whilst doing them.

I was going to the gym and just not getting the results I wanted, so I decided to look into going to personal training. Since working with Joe, I feel so much stronger both physically and mentally. I also have so much more confidence in trying new things in my workouts and pushing myself to go that bit further.

Joe is super easy to get along with, and I always have a great laugh with him. I look forward to my workouts every week now!

Before I met Joe, I've been doing weight lifting by myself. But I do struggle with some good training timetable for improving my muscle and shapes. After traing with Joe over a month, I find out that I improve a lot not only my body shapes and also stronger than I used to be. Besides, I lost weight with building muscle and definitely look smaller size than before. Before I was suffer from insomnia, but now I sleep really well everyday.

I have been with Joe for 2 months, and gained a lot in terms of fitness, strength and workout knowledge. I have an intense lifestyle and was struggling to sleep all the time. I came to Joe and set my goal as to improve my sleeping quality, more focus on work and live healthier.

He is very supportive and fun to talk with. I particularly like his Instagram where he puts those great meals, fun ideas, his hardworking client (like me) clips and his now and then comparison pictures. This is wonderful to share with, because Joe is trying to deliver the message that workout and diet better is not a task. It is a good lifestyle and will benefit all of us in the future.

Now I’m free from Insomnia, also stronger and leaner, thanks to Joe’s hard pushing. My new goal is to tone up, oh and I really really enjoy the patwork with Joe!!

If you want to feel motivated to reach your fitness goals, Joe’s your man!
As a dancer, I have the flexibility but wanted to strengthen my joints
more, and this has been achieved surprisingly fast, with Joes help. I also
have more defined muscle tone which is an added bonus and overall my bodyfeels so much stronger. Joe is always encouraging and supportive while pushing me to the max.
He has a friendly, laid back personality - but don’t let that fool you, he will keep you focussed and on track! He has definitely been the push that I needed to stick with it.
I’ve learned that without his initial assessment of exercises needed and his ongoing guidance I would likely be doing the wrong type of exercises and to top it all in the wrong way! Joe is also knowledgeable about a wide range of health and wellbeing issues and is happy to share information and offer appropriate advice – makes sessions interesting and enjoyable, so an hour of hard work, can often fly by.
The gym itself is great – well kitted out and professionally managed, along with a friendly, chilled atmosphere. It’s really good working out there with people from a range of backgrounds, ages and levels of fitness or rehabilitation. All in all, my experience of training with Joe has been excellent - inspiring, motivating and results driven.

I started my training my Joe about 2 month ago , I could see the improvement during the fist two weeks (my fitness level definitely got higher ). I always look forward to train with him , as he knows how to push me through my limits but also advise me about my dieting and my self trainings and most importantly encourage me and he keeps me motivated. You guys should know that I'm a lazy girl and for me to keep up the motivation is quiet like ' oh my god, is it really worth it ' and trust me it's definitely WORTH IT .
