I had a one to one lesson with Jodie and loved it. She talks throughly through the process describing in detail everything down to how to hold and move the brush. She will customise the lesson to your needs and what you think you need to work on. She also provides you with all the details and products you need in case you forget anything and so you have something to refer to. My bridal make up was fantastic, Jodie listened to everything I asked for and also made great suggestions and advice. My trial was amazing and lasted all day and with a only one change for my wedding day due to me having a darker skin tone and hair colour change she created a flawless look which recieved compliments all day. The make up and lashes stayed in place all day with no need for topping up. The service was brilliant and made me feel very comfortable and made the bridal preparations a great experience. Absolutely brilliant jodie did my make up for my hen do and bridal party on my wedding day it was so lovely to just relax and have it all done perfectly on the day .
I would highly recommend jodie to anyone I am very fussy and stress about marks on my face but she covered them brilliantly definitely be using her again for nights out and special occasions .
We all loved the make up and jodie is lovely very easy to talk to and go through ideas with .

What do you love most about your job?

As soon as I left school I completed 3 years training in Media Makeup & Fashion
Throughout my career of now 12+ years
I have successfully worked for MAC Cosmetics, Illamasqua, John Freda’s Myface cosmetics
& trained with both Airbase & TEMPTU Airbrush makeup.
Working in the industry on many photoshoots, advertising collections and published Newspaper articles
means I’m on top of current trends and after working for MAC Cosmetics & Illamasqua
I have focused on keeping on top of everything current whilst remaining classic in my style.
Alongside my growing freelance career, I also work as a Media makeup Lecturer at an Ofsted Outstanding private Beauty college.
I am based in Derbyshire but after 8 years living and freelancing in and around all of Yorkshire,
both regions are in my heart along with my family & friends; therefore
I cover all areas of both regions
I always aim for the highest of standards and quality within my kit and my creations.
Using both my artistic talent, knowledge of quality products and tried and tested techniques over the years
rest assured your makeup will not only last but will be tailored to each individual.
A few of the brands I use in my kit include
M.A.C, Nars, Kiko, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Temptu PRO, Illamasqua, Inglot.
It still amazes me how much people can change when applying make up;
Not just in appearance but also the self confidence that it gives and it is that,
