I've been tutoring for a few years now and parents have always been very happy that we had achieved our goals. Especially when students struggle with Maths, we have been able to improve the grade. Students have said that I'm very understanding but that I explain the content in so many ways that it can be understood.
In the first lesson, I try to identify which difficulties the students have and we set a goal together that we want to achieve (e.g. getting a higher mark in an exam, improving pronounciation). I then base the lessons on class materials and use my own exercises to practice.
If you're struggling with statistics (including SPSS, R, and Stata), then feel free to send me a message.:)
Just ask when I'm available-I do have some lectures but I'm very flexible.
A bit about myself:
In September I moved from Germany to Glasgow to do my Masters in Research Methods in Psychology at Strathclyde University. I started tutoring 6 years ago helping out at my mother's school in Germany school teaching German and Maths.
