I would definitely recommend JLM to anyone reading this. They were super quick and efficient. Literally only took 3 weeks to complete my remortgage and they made it really convenient for me. Everything was done over phone / email which was great as it is hard to get late night appointments when you work. Peter Lambley handled my case and he was brilliant. I am a first time buyer who recently remortgaged, I have used Damien Grafton from JLM on both occasions who was recommended by First Steps letting agents (Shared Ownership Letting Agent). JLM and Damien have gone above and beyond on both my mortgage applications, I really would have struggled without them, Damien made himself available outside of working hours on a number of times to answer my questions/concerns and throughout the whole process been supportive and knowledgeable. I personally won't be using anyone else and I will continue to use JLM / Damien for the foreseeable. I feel they have gone the extra mile.on both occasions to get me the best deal. Ryan at JLM could not have been more helpful from start to finish. We initially set up a meeting to get an idea of what we could borrow. Ryan was really keen to help us and provide us with the correct information that would benefit, and even helped us a few months after the meeting despite not having any indication that we would proceed JLM. When going to purchase a property Ryan has been so helpful and informative, always replies to any email/queries we might have had. And processed our mortgage application within a few days. Discovery mortgages made a difficult process very easy, nothing was to much trouble, communication is key in these circumstances and Gee kept in contact every step of the way. Me and my partner managed to buy our first home thanks to JLM Mortgage Services! But really the credit goes all to our mortgage advisor "Peter Stirrup" @Hitchin. Well, we all know that once the case is with a Senior Underwriter, things are not looking good. Well, after waiting a whole week for a final decision the application was declined but Peter did not accept a defeat and fought against it. After not one but two consecutive complaints, several phone calls and emails, the matter went to the CEO which after reviewing the case decided to grant us the mortgage as we met all criteria - Peter was very accurate!
