What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Shoot the moment, not the subject. I feel photographers spend too much time composing and arranging shots, not enough feeling what’s going on and flowing along with it. Life is a series of moments, not images. I shoots in-between moments as well as moments. Natural light will beautify a photo. Its all in the eye of the photographer, not missing a moment.. laughter, tears of joy, click it & freeze it for a lifetime!
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How many Guests. Who is close family, so you don't miss anyone out. Overall the whole itinerary of the event. Most importantly what they want to see in their album.
What do you love most about your job?
I love my job, period! The people & the friends I have made till date. I enjoy the joy on their face when they see their end result.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It was my hobby, that turned into a profession. I started shooting weddings and Indian actors in Mumbai as a pastime, more people started asking me to take photos at their events. I had requests for baby showers, modeling, portraits etc...too much time was being taken, so I started charging.
