What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Being able to tell a great story with a photograph- whether it’s to convey the professional values of your business or the story of your life and family . I love this challenge and I do so creatively with an art school education and a relaxed manner where people are able to really have fun and relax.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are your expectations? What do you most want to get out of our photo session? When do you need the photos by? What is the budget? What format would you like the images in? Is there any other information that I need ahead of the shoot?
What do you love most about your job?
Connecting with people, doing something creative, editing a shoot with a big mug of coffee.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love the freedom that comes with being a freelance photographer and the variety of project that I am asked to work on. I have always wanted to be a photographer for as long as I can remember so it seemed like the natural thing to do.

I have a B A Hons degree in design and an M A in fashion and textile design- with a solid art school background I am creative and able to develop ideas with my client and come up with beautiful images. I am able to help style any given shoot offering advice on what to wear and can direct people, understanding how to achieve the most flattering results. As a mother of three children and with 10 years experience photographing children in the fashion industry, I work well also with children. With 20 years of experience, I am a competent photographer, delivering outstanding results, digitally online with very clear and easy instructions as to how to download the images. I work quickly and efficiently and the images are available within 24 hours of the shoot.
