It was an absolute pleasure working with both Irene and Tatiana from Jemis Care. From the start, Irene fully captured all our needs for support in respect of my father's care.
She and her colleague went far beyond and offered the most excellent level of care which was key for my father and helped family members around this situation to cope with ease. The care was of the highest quality together with a consistent superb personal level of affiliation and delivery. Meticulous in ways and methods to achieve the best outcome for my father given days could be more challenging than other days. Hygiene was immaculate. Rates charged have been worthwhile for certain. Always on time and offered to take on board tasks involving the care without having to ask. They always left the property clean and tidy. Care of the highest degree and certainly set a high standard and no where near to the care plan put in place by the NHS. I endeavour to re-engage the services of Jemis Care in due course. I have had to take on the NHS care plan as my father was admitted to hospital urgently and thus on his discharge they suggested a short term care plan for his return to the home environment. I am not satisfied with the NHS carers. However they have provided equipment which will be beneficial for as and when Jemis Care can return. I will keep Irene informed accordingly. Irene and team are world class professionals. Jemis Care team have been there for me in my most difficult time, when I had no Personal Assistants available to meet my care needs.
I will always be very grateful to Irene, Manager of Jemis Care because she came the very nect after my telephone conversation with her. She was professional in her approach, reassuring and very efficient. She arranged the care the very next day.
I am very happy with the whole team of Jemis Care as they are punctual, committed and reliable. They make sure they meet my personal care needs, my dietary needs in a supportive and friendly manner.
They are prompt in building a good rapport with their clients, inform them of changes well in advance and provide an excellent caring service.

What do you love most about your job?
To provide a care service which enhances people lives and allows them to remain living at home in familiar surroundings and with all the benefits this offers compared with moving into a residential or nursing home.
To be able to make a difference each day and promote an individuals independence as much as possible.
Each individual is unique and and we ensure that we tailor their needs to their care. Making that difference is what I love most.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in the social care industry in various capacities over a number of years.
I am also a tutor, trainer, assessor and mentor.
Over the years I have come across unsafe practice in the industry and I wanted to make a difference by ensuring that care givers are equipped with a deep understanding, knowledge and skills they need to carry out their duties effectively and enable them to provide a high standard of care.
At Jemis Care, we understand that most people prefer to live in the comfort of their own homes for as long as possible so we do everything possible to improve the lives of our service users by providing safe and cared for environment. To ensure that we are providing care that is tailored to that individual.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
- Perform hand hygiene immediately before every episode of care and after any activity or contact that potentially results in your hands becoming contaminated.
- The safe use of PPE and when they are required.
- Advice on what to do when within 2 metres of a resident or anyone else within the working environment.
