i am a mum of two under three and have struggled to get my fitness levels and motivation back to how it was before babies, i have been using Josie since Feb 2018 and she has transformed by body, i train twice a week and love every bit of it, even the swat jumps. Josie customizes workouts so they are fun and work for me and my body, i have suffered with bad wrists and back for years but not once have these areas hurt when training with her. Josie has been great for me and really encouraging. Nothing is too much to ask and she has been the only one to succeed in helping me be mindful of my eating habits and find a workout routine that works around my home life, without the need to go to a gym. Would definitely recommend!

After many years of training, endless trips to the gym, classes and attempts to eat healthy- I am now finally able to understand what real nutrition and training really is. Josie sets out to tailor training and eating to your needs and lifestyle. I saw results within a month. Josie sets out to educate you in nutrition and training and how you can achieve your goals. Combined with the Virtugym/Nutrition For Real App and social community, you are able to monitor exactly what you are eating and how that eating affects your body. I have found the social community that she has created with her personal training fellow customers a huge support as well. You feel that you are not alone. Josie, I can’t thank you enough for all of the help you’ve given me. For years I had been completely confused about diet and trained so hard but never got the results I wanted this I now know was down to food! Starving myself, setting myself impossible goals, terribly low energy and stress was all contributing to my lack of progress and adding to feelings of failure. Wow I have never known such a personal service ,you really feel like Josie cares . I have just got back into fitness after three children and a semi sedentry Job , I felt bombarded with information from the internet etc , but knowing how experienced Josie is and putting my trust in just her after seeing all her client before and after pics ,it has taken all the stress out of a change of lifestyle and given me the confidence to succeed. I am eating more food and better food than i was before , i was always tired and not eating well. It took me a couple of weeks to get into it , but when i started to lose weight even when i didnt think i had been brilliant it has given me an extra boost . Josie has always been there for advice, I'm definatly sticking with her after my free trial . I went to my very first metabolic fat burn class last night. I can honestly say that it was fast, furious and fun. I felt the burn for 2 hours after my legs were like jelly after 10 mins and yet the class was short. It was totally different to any other class that I have been to and I'm going back to get more , it was great. Need to learn to rest more between each movement and speed up a bit. But it was my first go so I'll work on that . This class works on all the wobbly bits and muscles you didn't even know that you had. Thank you Josie. More...

I started Josie's Kettlercise class to build up the strength in my back after having a baby but soon became addicted to all her classes! Not only do you get a great workout with a lovely group of people, you also get tips on healthy eating to help you achieve your personal goals.

Dearest josie, thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me the confidence when walking down the isle.
Ladies Josie trained me on the lead up to my wedding. My results were fantastic even though I work out regularly and have had personal trainers in the past josie has managed to give me what none of them could, a taylor made body..... metabolic effect and kettle bells have toned all the bits I wanted and josie has given me so much more confidence and a passion for new ways of training plus I have made an amazing friend.
So please If you keep saying I want that great body that so and so has, get off your butt and let her help you she really cares xxxxxxxxxxxx

I have been regularly training with Josie for nearly two years and I would thoroughly recommend her as a personal trainer.

My reason for finding Josie to train me was that my exercise routine had begun to stagnate - swimming, running, yoga and Pilates - were not working as I felt they should anymore and I needed something else to bring my fitness levels up and tone my body.

Training with Josie is never dull or repetitive! By using lots of different exercises and training techniques we work cardio, core strength, and including some weights and kettle bells.

The most important part for me is that the time I spend training should be fun - training can be very intimidating at times when you're out of breath, sweaty and flushed - Josie is encouraging and has such a positive attitude at those points that you forget the situation at times!

My body has transformed - I have toned up and have turned body fat into muscle. I don't weigh myself as I believe you know for yourself if you have gained or lost weight. I feel much happier and have much more body confidence. You cannot underestimate how good being fit is for the body as well as the mind too!

I’ve been having personal training sessions with Josie and have to say she is amazing. So knowledgeable and supportive adapting all work outs to me and mixing it up so it doesn’t gets boring. Josie was so thorough when designing my personalised programme. I wanted to shift some belly fat and tone up before my wedding. She sat down with me to explore my eating and exercise habits and goals. She made every session different, which was really important in keeping me motivated, especially at 5:30am! Josie was also really careful to work around my back and knee problems. I know less experienced PTs may have just loaded up the weights but Josie was really conscious that an injury would set me back. Q&As

Through habit setting and goals. Nutrition is a huge part of what I do and so daily contact via text and I use my own personalised apps which include food monitoring and extra training sessions if needed. Staying in contact and hitting your daily habits and food goals I can monitor you this way and it helps to always have that support! All of my clients are weighed using the Neo body composition scales which will give me precise body fat analysis so not only will I be weighing you in the traditional sense we can see what your body is made of, the scales show me your fat % muscle % bone density % water % as weight really shouldn't be just one measurement. Remember the more muscle tone you have the more fat you will burn, muscle is metabolically active so the more you have the more fat you burn 24 hours a day 7 days a week, even when you are asleep! Using circumference measurements, your body type and activity levels and along with the Neo scales I can also generate your personalised daily calorie and Macro splits based on your body metrics. My clients all have access to the Pro features of my own personalised apps which link directly to my software. Using this system I can monitor my clients progress and track every thing they do, their food, using the food diary and if they have a wearable device they can even link that in! I use bi weekly weigh in's and go through their food and training with them to really monitor and keep them on track. I am getting amazing results using this method and my clients, on average are losing around a stone in 8 weeks!

It's 80% diet and 20% training But making sure you don't 'go on a diet' is the key. Learning what to eat for your body type and exercise goals is what I will teach you. I don't do faddy diets I am into long term and sustainable results not quick fixes and metabolism ruination! So if you want a quick fix I'm not for you. I take nutrition very seriously and I am a Precision Nutrition Graduate PN! I get real results for real people that they can sustain. I don't believe in starving yourself I believe in health.

Giving people the knowledge and confidence to go out and eventually train on their own. Seeing somebody grow out of their old self and into the person they always were but just couldn't find. You're in there! You just have to stop reading into all the quick fixes, learn to do it right. I love the light bulb moments, when people are eating more than they ever have, when they realise that the whole concept is so much more than 'losing weight' that is just the end product! The journey begins with feeling better, having more energy and so we build on that and as you become stronger the more you can do, the more you can prep, the more you can research, the more you can train. It doesn't happen over night, it is a process. But the penny drops and then there's no stopping them.

My children. Being a single mum I didn't want to work for someone else and be tied to their hours and their rules. This is perfect for us as a family and now they are older my business has gone from strength to strength.

Simply put, because I care. I want you to succeed and I want you to enjoy your journey. Motivation is key and so is support. Daily contact regardless of how many sessions you book per week will give you that support and with the added bonus of the apps you can train as much on your own too, the biggest success for me has been implementing these tracking apps and even if you're not very 'techie' they are so easy to use and you'll be a pro in no time once I show you how to use them you'll wonder why you didn't try them out before, they really give people the insight into what is in their food and the apps have perfect programs with perfect technique if you're just starting out they really help with form.

Using My own VG apps upload your daily food and drink for me to monitor on a daily basis. I will give you your exact calorie intake and macro splits for your height, body weight, type and goals. Keeping in touch via my apps will keep you on track with your nutrition goals and improve your chances of staying on track. Getting into shape is 20% training and 80% nutrition, this service is part of my package and is included in my prices along with all my apps.

Whether you are a face to face client or an online client you’ll have exclusive access to my app. Within the app you can have extra workouts to do at home or in the gym, you can track your workouts and improvements and also link to your wearables. With built in video demos for every exercise I can tailor workouts for you to do when I’m not with you or if you’re an online client I can give you a whole plan o follow which is scheduled and will automatically prompt you to train and log your progress. This service is free to face to face clients but is chargeable as an online only package.
