Hi I'm Jayne a counsellor and hypnotherapist. I work both with young people and adults.
I work with children & young people in local schools and also within my private practice.
My work with young people has included, anxiety, anger, self harm, bereavement, confidence, exam stress, bullying, family separation and family support, low mood and negative thought patterns.

Having been diagnosed with low mood/anger problems, I turned to the internet were I found Jaynes site. Although sceptical at first I was willing to try counselling/hypnosis rather than taking antidepressants, I had an initial meeting with Jayne to see if she could help, Jayne is very pleasant, very easy to talk to and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable, Jayne was very informative at all stages and after just 4 one hour sessions we found my underlying problems, I now feel great, more confident, and no relapses, I truly believe in this therapy, I highly recommend Jayne to help you as she helped me,

What do you love most about your job?
My work as a therapist is so rewarding. I am so lucky to have so many people allow me into their lives and help them feel free, happy and better about whatever they may be struggling with.
I have worked hard over the years to build my reputation as a therapist working both with adults and young people. Being in a position were most of my work is through recommendation is an amazing feeling and great place to be.
Having my own therapy practice is another plus as I am able to have the flexibility for my clients to fit around them and also my own family life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being a single mum at the time, I wanted to have the flexibility to be there for my son and have the freedom of working for myself.
Being able to show my son that if you work hard, you can be and have all you dream of ?
Why should our clients choose you?
I am intuitive in my work and connect with everyone I support on different levels. I have a very diverse working history, helping support clients with lots of different issues. Both with Adults and young people.

Each week there was no set routine. Jayne led the sessions very much based upon what I needed at that time. Some weeks I had hypnotherapy, other weeks I had counselling – it really was a personalised programme of support. Jayne was happy to be led by me and my needs at a particular time. I think the most important thing for me is that Jayne has given me coping mechanisms for life – not just a ‘quick fix’. Although I no longer have regular appointments with Jayne, I haven’t said goodbye as I feel that I may need further support in the future and I believe there’s no-one better equipped to offer that support than Jayne.
