I am currently a part-time Primary Teacher in a local primary school. I offer Private Tuition for primary students, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, around work and looking after my daughter. I am fully qualified, with over 14 years of experience and a current enhanced DBS certificate.

What do you love most about your job?
I have seen many students make huge progress through 1:1 tuition and find it thoroughly rewarding. I have built up some lovely working relationships with families and enjoy seeing a child's confidence grow.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After having my daughter almost 3 years ago, I decided to go back to my job as a class teacher on a part-time basis. I soon realised I still needed to earn a bit more money, but was determined not to give up the time I spend with my daughter on my weekdays off. So private tuition on an evening or weekend is an ideal way for me to earn an extra income doing something I love, around the other commitments in my life.

I am a fully qualified and very experienced primary teacher. I have taught all year groups throughout Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and so can tailor all lessons to suit the age and ability of each individual child. I have a thorough knowledge of the Primary curriculum. My lessons are fun and engaging as well as being planned to address the specific learning needs of the child.
