Janie Whittemore

OMG I love Havening and Janie Whittemore is amazing at it. I’d not been sleeping easily or been emotionally well since my Dad died after months of quite traumatic ill health and terrible hospital experiences. I’d been able to logically rationalise everything and cope ‘well’ day to day. I was functioning ’perfectly fine’ for everyday life. But the moment I closed my eyes to sleep or allowed myself some headspace I couldn’t stop thinking about how scared and in pain my Dad was. And how scared I was for him. And the anger I felt for the care he received in hospital. I couldn’t talk about it because I kept bursting into tears. (I don’t like crying in front of other people). I was crying at the news and when other people told me emotional stories - whether sad or happy. I couldn’t recall happy memories of Dad, of which there are many. On Friday I had a Havening session with Janie and I left feeling light and free. I’ve now had five nights of good sleep and waking up with no intrusive thoughts and most importantly all the wonderful memories of Dad are re-emerging. If you are looking for healing services, I cannot recommend Janie highly enough. Within as quickly as an hour of leaving our havening session, I felt much lighter than I had done in ages. It felt like a huge weight has been lifted and that I was vibrating at a higher frequency. It is unexpected but it really did come over me so quickly. I can thoroughly recommend Janie, she is a wonderful and intuitive therapist. She is very personable and has a lovely gentle demeanour that is calming and quickly puts you at ease. Janie is the most wonderful teacher, I attended both centres in Cheltenham and Cirencester for my Reiki Training L1 and 2. If you are thinking of learning Reiki, I couldn’t recommend her more. It has made a huge difference to my life and during my journey of giving Reiki, have seen wonderful changes in my clients. I saw Janie for Havening recently. Having never done anything like this before I was a little nervous. However, Janie was so welcoming and reassuring and put me at my ease. Since my session, I have felt a huge shift in my emotional response to a traumatic event. I had a wonderful day with Janie on the Reiki Level 1 course. The whole day was extremely well organised, based in the immaculate location of the Cotswold Academy, where the welcome was warm and professional. Janie guided us through our introduction to Reiki, with both theory and hands on experience. She covered the day with excellent timekeeping but was also sensitive to any needs to pause, explore or ask questions where relevant. Her years of experience shone through. I recently did a Reiki Level 2 Refresher with Janie, which was a follow on from the original L2 course I did back in 2019. Janie is always has a positive and friendly approach and you can't help but come away uplifted from spending time with her, even if you didn't do any reiki! Recently I had my first Havening session and I highly recommend this. From the beginning to the end Janie makes you feel relaxed and completely at ease. Havening is an extremely gentle, powerful and very effective way to work with yourself. Even on matters you do not know the reason for, Janie and your subconsciousness will guide you and find it. I would like to leave a review for this amazing lady and share my thoughts with anyone who will come across searching the Internet for guidance. I was a mess before I contacted Janie. I am going to a very difficult stage in my life and my past traumas has made this even more challenging to cope with. I was desperate finding someone like her (genuine) to help me. Janie is very gifted and knowledgeable, she will take her time to listen and actually go to the bottom of the roots. I felt very safe and by the end of our session there was a lot of my anxiety that managed to dissappear. This is not a magic wand, but she is magic trapped in a human body! I have just completed my reiki 1 with Janie and it was such an enlightenment, I wasn't sure what to expect but it was above and beyond. I had an Upliftment session with Janie after feeling a little out of sorts for a few days but I hadn't been able to put my finger on exactly why. Somehow, she very quickly tuned into what I needed after a brief chat. The session felt unrushed, and was exactly what I needed to re-balance. It’s often difficult for us guys to ask for help through challenging periods in our lives, it is so often seen as a sign of weakness. But I have come to realise that just as my car needs a tuneup once in a while, so do I!
