James was the photographer at our wedding in July 2014. I cannot recommend him highly enough! He was thoroughly professional throughout the whole day and really listened to what we asked for. He also made suggestions for photos that we never would have thought about, but these photos are now some of our favourites. He put everyone at ease at was completely unobtrusive. Amazing! I had prioritised the photographer in our wedding planning and fell in love with James' photos when recommended. We are so so pleased with the photos James took of our wedding a few weeks ago. All so natural and exactly what we wanted. They will really help us remember the day and how happy we were!

On the day, James was so unobtrusive and just let everything happen naturally. We had already chosen which photos we wanted posed with our families etc. but James was really flexible when we decided to add a few more or if any guests asked him to take extras.

Overall, highly recommended!

James recently photographed our wedding in Devon in July 2016. From the first time we met James at a wedding fair he couldn't of been more helpful and enthusiastic. It is truly refreshing to meet an individual that is so passionate about his work. The quality of his photography speaks for itself, he is extremely talented and a throughly great bloke too. He worked with us to acheiveve what we wanted, a natural, laid back day with no cheesy poses or set ups and he undertook this perfectly. James was our wedding photographer in December 2015. We were so impressed with him from beginning to end, including ease of booking, price, communication and preparation for the big day. On the wedding day itself he was completely unobtrusive. We had loads of compliments about him including how he let other guests take photos and his sense of humour! We recieved our wedding photos in under two weeks and really love them. They are relaxed and informal which is exactly what we wanted. There is also a good mix between colour, black and white and a vintagey look (to match our wedding theme). We would highly recommend James! More...

We spent a long time searching for a photographer for our wedding, as you can imagine the standards and expectations of quality you set are high. James was able to exceed all of these and more! With so many 'standard' packages of wedding photography out there it felt daunting, with a recommendation from a friend we felt excited that we found James. The personal service and attention to detail was second to none, from the initial meet to the arrival of our pictures. Thanks to James we now have a collection of amazing photographs of our wedding day (late Feb 2016); the perfect mix of special moments, posed and unexpected.

Throughout the day James was totally unobtrusive yet entirely helpful, with lots of great suggestions and very happy to entertain and 'coach' our niece - a budding photographer.

In the run up to our wedding, we always got a quick response, felt our choices were listened to and taken fully into account, and the service received was amazing value for money in our opinion.

We have just received our wedding photos and we are absolutely over the moon! Our photos have allowed us to relive the entire day. James has captured everything we could have possibly asked for and more. Everybody we have showed loves them!

James made us both feel so comfortable allowing us to be ourselves! He was unobtrusive allowing our guests to enjoy the day.

We used James for our wedding in June of 2017 (sorry for the late review) and he was amazing, listened to what we wanted from our photographer and delivered on it. Amazing photographer with more than fair prices. Mingled with all the guests to get more natural/comfortable photos and an all around nice chap to boot!
