AVOID! We have advertised the property for sale with James and George Collie. Apart from advertising it on ASPC and their website they have done nothing to try and sell it. They have posted it online and completely forgot about the property showing absolutely no interest in trying to sell it. We were prepared to accommodate for current market situations but clearly, James and George Collie are in this business to take advantage of people’s trust and not to provide a service that they have signed up for. They were upfront with regards to their fees which were reasonable given the service provided. We moved into one of Kinnear and Falconer's flats that had been water damaged in the winter. Unfortunately, the repairs had not been done correctly and there was mould under several carpets in the flat. That is where the problems ended.Fortunately, the landlord and Kinnear & Falconer were 1st rate. Refunded everything, passed on our references and credit check to another agency that we found a flat with and were very friendly and helpful throughout. The landlord was even willing to pay for dry cleaning for any clothing affected by mould, which she did not have to do.I would recommend them to anyone who wants peace of mind when it comes to renting.
