When you’re child leaves jada, she turns nasty! Had this from personal experience but heard from others. That’s why my daughter was scared to leave!

My boy goes to JADA on a Saturday, loves to be there and certainly bringing out his dramatic side, building his confidence, and improving all the time.

I have been working with Joey for several years now. She is an amazing actress who I have worked with on several films of mine. She also provides me with young talent when needed for my films.

I recently had the pleasure of working with not only Joey but Mari Beasley and Kirsty Bundy, 2 students of JADA on my latest short film. Mari as a staring role worked in a very professional manner throughout the long shooting days, her acting was fantastic and her ability to take direction was extremely good especially for someone of her age. Kirsty was on the film for a shorter time but her performance is excellent and she was able to give me different variations on what was a very chaotic scene to film. It was a pleasent moment in editing to find subtle things she did that I didn't even say to do but worked great.

As well as Mari and Kirsty I have worked with several other students from JADA in the past who have equally impressed me. This is a testement to JADA and Joey's ability to teach these young performers not just how to act, but how to act in a professional and 'real world' manner when working on productions which is a tough skill for young people. I look forward to working more with JADA in the future.

I have been taught by Joey for nearly two years now and it has been two of the best years of my life. Joey has really helped me to develop my ability as an actress and my confidence in general. When I was first taught by Joey, I had a lot of potential but no one to really guide me. She introduced me to so many amazing actors that have led me to being in a really great show at the palace theatre. She's been there for me through my ups and downs and I genuinely believe I would have given up on my ability if it wasn't for her and her amazing teachings. Thanks to Joey's advice, I have just been accepted into an amazing theatre company called Fourth Monkey. I would recommend JADA to anyone! More...

My daughter started at Jada Just as she turned 5 and has enjoyed every week for the past 3 years.

During that time, many friends have commented on how her confidence has grown. She used to go to parties and hang off me, not any more thanks to the confidence that Jada has supported.
She is now a confident, funny and her words “sassy” young girl.
The community feel of Jada is wonderful and when I watch the shows and the older children how their friendship groups are so strong and how supportive they are of each other, I hope that my daughter will stay part of this Jada family for many years to come.

Reviews I think can be one dimensional, so the reality is that there have been times when my daughter has suffered from nerves before a show or an exam and I have wondered as a parent if she should partake, but the principle has always made herself available to talk with me and discuss options and offer her professional advice and my daughter and I, the reassurance required. Watching these challenges conquered has been a lesson learnt to me as a parent and the delight of seeing how proud my daughter is of her accomplishments after, is just amazing.

Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness was pleased to be a partner to JADA for the performance of 'Shelter' at The Rose Theatre in Kingston as part of the International Youth Arts Festival. It was a powerful performance by a number of young people that effectively portrayed the complex lives of homeless young people in central London - the constant state of anxiety and fear, the violence and abuse, the significance of small acts of sharing and mutual support, the fragility of relationships and the consequence of broken relationships. Well done to everyone who took part. More...
