We had a buffet for a hen party off of jack and it was great. He sorted everything out for us and dropped it in off just before we got home. The food was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Sausage rolls were the best! And the mini pizzas were a hit. Have booked jack for our wedding in the summer and he has been the most helpful of all of the suppliers. Absolutely amazing....... My sister is turning 40 and I wanted to do something different. I came across jacks food shack on Facebook, I sent an email asking for more details.
Jack was so efficient with his responses, so after going back and fourth several times I decided to book a 3 course meal for 6 of us. Jack sent me some menu ideas, which all looked amazing. I then thought it would be lovely to have my sisters favourite meal cooked and served to us, jack was completely fine with this. Jack sent the cost across to me and I was shocked at how reasonable it was and booked straight away.
So we had pate to start which was one of the best I've ever tasted and chutney was lovely too, followed by hunters chicken with baby carrots, peas and triple cooked chips, the chicken was cooked to perfection as was the rest of the main. Then for dessert it was lemon and lime cheesecake, so light and fluffy and full of flavour.
I would say this was so much better than what you get in some restaurants.
This was such a hassle free evening, I would highly recommend these lads. They literally turn up with everything required pots, pans, plates, cutlery and food. They cook, serve, clean and then leave. You would never know they had even been. I will definitely book them again.

Jack catered our wedding and our theme was 40's. The buffet was superb, all the old foods from days gone by.
The food was so well presented and so fresh and along with the Victoria sponge and lemon drizzle cakes, everyone was so impressed .
Although it was simple food, Jack made it all look so special. Jacks food shack really made our wedding reception and after the event, everything was broken down and organised for us. Just a real pleasure to deal with, We will most certainly be using him again and I would highly recommend Jack's Food Shack.

The food was delicious and plentiful, with an impressive selection of tasty, creative salads.
Everyone ate well and we were able to enjoy the day.
They were courteous and conscientious, helping us to plan the menu carefully in advance to avoid our guests' various food allergies. On the day, the team were jovial, polite, punctual, efficient and tidy. I will certainly use them again.

What’s your signature dish?
We offer a great mix of signature dishes but our BBQ food is something to behold alongside our gooey amaretto chocolate brownie!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We work hand in hand with the client to ensure we design a bespoke and tailored menu to perfectly suit any function. All of our menu choices are interchangeable and we are happy to include requested items that will make the clients event extra personal.
What do you love most about your job?
The best thing about catering for functions, parties and events is that you get to share in a multitude of peoples special days. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and much more. Being able to play a part in these days and putting a smile on the face of the client by offering tasty food is incredibly rewarding and something that drives me to continue improving what we offer here at the Food Shack.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A raw passion for cooking is what drove me to start providing my food for people. I have always enjoyed working for myself and now I get to do so in an industry that I adore.
