We hired a photo booth for our wedding and the service we received was excellent. Invite Events set up discretely during the afternoon and provided us with three hours of usage. The booth operator was very friendly and compiled a photo book with printouts from the booth. The booth looked great and worked excellently (with guests really enjoying being able to print photos on the spot). We felt that the booth was reasonably priced given the excellent service we received and we would highly recommend using Invite Events to others. I had my 21st birthday on Saturday and used these guys as my dj.. after not knowing the dj personally and then coming 1hr 30min drive to the venue you would of thought you’d be very nervous and cautious. . but now with these guys. The reassurance was there and the communication was good throughout.. couldn’t have asked for better. Amazing all round, music was spot on what we asked for, dj was lovely, he came with plenty of time to get set up so he was ready on time. The booking was very simple and John made sure that everything was running smoothly right up to the start of the event. John was very knowledgeable and helpful from beginning to end. From our first phone call we realised that he was very experienced. He met us at home to discuss our ideas and iron out a few details. Including how to deal with the venues sound limiter! The up lighting was a fantastic addition to our venue during the day and evening. It transformed the room to give it a little extra colour and ambience. They were wireless and so could be placed anywhere, which helped a lot as our venue didn’t have many power sockets! The photo booth was a fun part of our evening- although I wouldn’t recommend wearing green else you might disappear into the background! They provided a lovely book for guests to put copies of their photos with a message which was a lovely touch! As for the disco. The dance floor was rarely empty! We had the chance to make suggestions which gave John a good idea as to what type of party we were, but he was great at reading the room and playing songs which kept the mood high. We had Invitations Entertainment provide the DJ and the photo booth for my son’s 18th birthday. The ladies who ran the photo booth were lovely and dealt with everyone of all ages wonderfully. The DJ had all ages up and dancing all evening. The music was great and varied from current to seventies/ eighties music and appealed to all ages. We recommended a theme for the music and suggested genres which at times were not met. I had a number of guests ask for more modern music and felt that despite pleas to change the tempo of the music and genre with John we were not listened to at times. Despite this slight criticism I understand that trying to keep everyone at a wedding happy is very difficult and from the photos I know that a lot of guests really enjoyed the music. I would recommend making a specific song playlist if you want your personal songs to be played at the event rather than just suggesting a genre. Overall, John runs a very professional service and despite some minor criticism I would recommend him to others. More...

His equipment, set-up & lighting were of a very high standard, he was very personable & nothing was too much trouble. "A really fantastic DJ, all my friends, young and old were dancing away and had a really super time. One of those parties that goes down as legendary! I supplied a couple of playlists to the main man, John Sharp at Invite Events and these were conveyed to DJ Matt as he loves Motown and Northern Soul. Despite the rather inaccessible location, Matt had the sounds and lights all setup very quickly, and started on time. We had a chat beforehand to make sure he understood what I wanted, Matt was charming, listened carefully and played all the right music. As the first track filled the venue, I knew I'd made the right choice - the sound was perfect, very clear and crisp. Matt played to the audience, he's a professional and kept everyone engaged and dancing, which is just what I wanted. There were some requests which were accommodated, and announcements which were clear. Matt was friendly and approachable. I could see he was enjoying himself lining up the tracks, which although it sounds like a minor detail, made such a difference to the vibe of the evening. The DJ's spinning lights added to the party atmosphere, which was caught on camera for some really memorable photographs. Our new Magic Mirror Photo Booth is a great alternative to the traditional Invitations Entertainment Photo Booth. It is sure to have the WOW FACTOR at any Wedding, Party, Prom or Celebration.
During your photo session, our magic mirror kindly gives you compliments and leads you through the fun. There is an option for a clapping and screaming contest and the option to sign the magic mirror before your photo is printed for you to share with your friends and family.

Four Foot Giant LOVE letters
The Giant LOVE letters are ideal for a Wedding or Civil Partnerships and compliment a DJ/Photo Booth very well. Normally placed near the DJ set up.
The LOVE letters are hired for the entire event our LOVE letter are 4ft in height. They are ideal for impressing guest’s and taking pictures. The letters are free standing and the dimensions are 1120mm High x 820mm Width x 200mm Depth. The space needed for the LOVE word is roughly 10 foot. No trailing cables to plug into can be taken outside for stunning backdrop photos weather permitting. Perfect for you special Day all day hire available. Photo Booth and mood lighting is also a great add on to your wedding package.
Mood Lighting (Uplighters)
To create a coloured wash of light on a wall or feature(s) of a room. For Corporate Events , Weddings and Parties in Hotels, Bars & Halls where stylish ambient lighting is required to give a dramatic sophisticated look to what maybe a bland room or to enhance the architectural features of an already classic setting. Choosing your favourite colour for an event is of course what excites most customers about uplighter hire.
Mood lighting ensures your special is colourful and giving your event a professional appearance to WOW your guests. Perfect for any occasion, especially for Weddings and Civil Partnerships.
Battery life is twelve hours. Primary colours (red, green, blue) last up to ten hours. Secondary colours (orange, purple, pink, yellow etc.) last up to ten hours depending on colour setting. White lasts up to eight hours. For longer events the units can be wire for all day use.
Set up is included and a delivery charge will be applied to the cost. Free delivery and set up within 25 miles of Portsmouth.
