Since I have been working with Matt, I am a lot stronger, carry lest fat and most importantly am not getting injured. After each session I know I have worked both my cardiovascular & muscles hard, My posture has improved as has my confidence.

Cannot recommend Matt enough! He has amazing knowledge and shares it in a way that’s easy to understand, he completely changed my mindset on food and nutrition. He really focuses on your personal goals to create a program to suit the individual. He is very motivating but also very understanding if you are struggling. You can tell he is passionate in helping people achieve their targets.

Matt is simply amazing. Very professional and patient. Exactly everything you are looking for in a personal trainer.


The concept of Inner Circle is that you don't just work with a trainer - you have access to the whole team (if you need it).

That means you can get help with your diet, training, recovery and rehabilitation with injuries. We use our collective knowledge to create the best possible plan for YOU.

Combining HIIT, circuit training, weight/resistance training and education about your body and how it responds to the different types of activity we do.

Understanding that we are all different. Which means our goals need to be customised to our body type, our diets, our strengths (and our weaknesses).

Learning to adapt and push forward - based on what we enjoy, what we dislike and most importantly - what is sustainable for the longterm.

Helping people to go through the same journey that we have been on. Learning how diet, training and mindset all combine to create a stronger and healthier version of ourselves.

Going through my own fitness journey, understanding that there is so much more to health and fitness than exercise - but also working with a number of disinterested and uneducated fitness professionals.

Unfortunately, a lot of personal trainers look at their clients in terms of £££ - and want their clients to make some progress, but not enough for them to feel confident continuing their fitness journey without them.

That isn't the Inner Circle way - we want to help you grow in your fitness, your understanding and your confidence. If that means we work together for 4 weeks and that is all you need - great. If you feel that you enjoy the sessions and want to keep working together - that is great too.

We are different. We're different because we have been on the same journey as you may well be on now. You could be just beginning your fitness transformation, or you could be hitting and wall and becoming frustrated. We've been there.

We know how it feels - and crucially, we know how to help.

Yes - we are now offering all services online / remotely.

All in-person training sessions are;
- conducted from a safe range,
- no touching between instructor and client,
- all equipment cleaned before and after sessions,
- instructor will wear mask at all times,
- instructor insurance covers training during Covid / lockdown restrictions.


We primarily work outside in public parks and greens - and will happily agree on a location that suits both parties.

Combining HIIT (high intensity interval training), circuits, body weight and resistance training - we aim to get you feeling happier and healthier.

Inner Circle is delighted to now offer personal training within a gym environment. We've partnered with Cheetah's Gym on Hove seafront to offer a alternative option to outdoor personal training.

This option is great for those who want to focus on increasing muscle, strength and endurance. It's also inside, so warmer in those winter months.

If you are finding that you are picking up injuries or are experiencing discomfort - you may benefit from sports massage to help free up muscles and joints.

If you train with us - we can combine massage with helping to identify the problem and develop a stretching and cool-down programme to stop those same issues arising again.

In partnership with Kevin Hall - Hove based physiotherapist, Inner Circle offer access to Kevin's services.

We work with Kevin to help develop rehab programmes - as well as refer clients to Kevin if we feel that the problem is deeper than can be fixed by massage or stretching.

In these difficult Covid times - you may not feel comfortable, or be able to train in person.

Using Zoom (or other online services) - I offer online training sessions that will provide the type of results you are looking for.

As part of a consultation - we'll explore what access to equipment / space you have and sessions will be designed around you on a bespoke basis.

Whether you only have a small amount of space and no equipment, or a large house/garden a a great range of equipment - there is always a way to achieve great results.
