I am a qualified registered Relational Counsellor, CBT Therapist, Child Therapist, Youth counsellor and an Accredited Bio energy Therapist
BSC in Therapeutic counselling, Dip CBT Dip Youth Counselling, Accredited Dip Energy therapy, Post grad cert in play therapy, Cert counselling skills using the arts, Advanced cert in stress and anxiety management, Diploma in personal coaching.

Jan has been in practice for twenty years. Her experience includes providing individual counselling sessions to individuals of all ages. Play Therapy/Child and adult Counselling and group therapy to people experiencing mental health and emotional and behavioural difficulties in NHS, Education, charity and Community settings, Colleges, employee assistant schemes, Schools and family service unit and children centres.
Experience includes managing a children’s therapeutic project, Co-ordinating a student counselling service, co-ordinating a domestic violence project, alcohol and drug counsellor, child and family therapist, youth counsellor, employee assistant counsellor.
My approach - Relational-Integrative
I use a relational integrative mind body approach bringing elements of person centred, creative methods, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural and psychodynamic approaches providing a flexible style of working with children and individual’s of all ages.
Mind Body Therapy
I recently qualified as an accredited Bi-Aura energy Therapist where i employ a variety of techniques designed to examine how the mind affects the body and behaviour considering the impact on an individual’s health and symptoms.
Some of the techniques include Visualisation, mindfulness, breath work, guided imagery, Qi gong, Progressive muscle, energy work

Jan feels passionate about the empowerment and nurturing of people enabling them to become all they can be. She is able to acutely sense and deeply connect with others building rapport immediately being able to put people at their ease.
She offers a truly holistic integrative approach to deeper mind body understanding complimenting the talking therapies.
