Our property had some well established tall trees including a huge 60foot conifer blocking the afternoon/evening sun from reaching our patio. There were also access issues and various neighbours greenhouses and sheds that could be damaged during this work. David and his team worked tirelessly, and felled them all very carefully ensuring that all of the timber came down within the boundary of our garden. David pollarded our large maple tree and also trimmed some hedges. All of the detritus was cleared away super efficiently. A fuschia plant suffered some collateral damage during the process but this was pointed out and he did apologise. Our tree looked amazing afterwards and the hedges were super neat. The two chaps were all done and dusted in 4 hours. I was a bit taken aback at the cost but apparently this is around the going rate these days! We did get left with some tree trunk chunks for us to chop up and use on our fire! Nice guy. More...

David came out to see us to provide a free quotation and was able to start work the same day to remove a couple of very large trees plus some holly bushes!
These guys really know their stuff and provided us with everything we needed to meet our preferred timescales and our budget. The work started straight away and was all complete in 48 hours leaving us with a fantastic view from our front garden, all debris was cleared away and I’ve no doubt we will be using them again in future. David was very friendly and approachable.
He advised me not to cut down the tree I was thinking of because of
how much it would cost me.
The lilac tree in the front garden
Was removed quickly and efficiently, all debris removed and pavement cleaned.
Will have ld.oakwood back in the autumn to cut hedges and prune overgrown plum tree.
Thoroughly recommend.

These guys are amazing! They rang me up and came out to give me a tree felling quote as soon as I was available to meet them. Once on site they gave me a very competitive quote and once we had agreed upon a price they got on with it straightaway!
