What inspired you to start your own business?
We were inspired by an accountant friend and a mentor to start our own practice after noticing a huge gap in the market - the need for freelance accountants due to lack of accountants who could provide tailored and flexible accounting and tax services to small and medium-sized businesses at affordable prices. We also noticed that some small businesses did not always have the time to engage with their accountants during normal business opening hours, as lots of their accountants were only available from 9am to 5pm. We then thought if we could provide our services beyond 9am to 5pm, we could tap into those clients. So, we started getting clients that require accountants beyond the the normal business opening hours. We started as a sole practitioner working for a mix of self-employed individuals, sole traders and companies. The practice has grown over the years and it was incorporated in February 2018. We have never looked back since.
