Q&As

Meeting new people and repeat clients.
Helping clients with their aches and pains and getting them back to normal and back to the things they love to do the most.

My job is very rewarding and no two person is the same! Everyone comes with their own personal injury/ache/tension/pain and when I help them to resolve this there is nothing more rewarding.

I have for a long time now wanted to come out of the public sector and be my own boss and start a business. With the passion I have for Sport Therapy and receiving treatment myself over the years I understood just how rewarding this business could be.

I am knowledgeable and passionate about my job.
I have many repeat clients who trust me with their needs.
I have good people skills and enjoy a conversation if desired within appointments.

I am flexible that I can be mobile to carry out your appointment in the comfort of your own home and also offer appointments from my home.
My prices are very competitive.
I am a keen triathlete and have completed an full distance Ironman in Tenby 2014 and many shorter distances races - I therefore have a good understanding of how much sports can take their toll on the body.

Advice can be passed online ie. stretching techniques and tips but this will be limited

Table sheets and towels are washed after every single use
My table is wiped down thoroughly with industry standards approached sterilised wipes that kill bacteria including covid.

I can wear a mask if required and also have surgical latex gloves which can also be worn if requested by the client

Services

various techniques such as effleurage and petrissage.
Light to deep tissue techniques.
Soft tissue release and trigger point therapy.
Sports massage also includes MET stretching - assisted stretching to bring about a deeper and further stretch of targeted muscle.

Plastic cups that allow a vacuum to be created which pulls the skin and fascia inside - this can relieve areas of tension and where blood has become stagnated. This release will bring about a stretch reflex and promote new nutrient rich fresh blood to the area helping to reduce the tension/ache and aid recovery.

Other techniques used aside from static cupping is gliding which consists of pushing and pulling the cups over areas of tension which helps to increase blood flow to the area and breaks through adhesions (knots) and to smooth and length the muscle

K-Taping is widely used within sport. The specialist stretchy and sticky tape is applied to a joint or muscle in order to reduce pain or assist with movement.

Usually left on the desired area for uptown 3 days

A holistic treatment but with a Sports Therapy spin on it.
Large, medium and small stones are heated and pushed and pulled along the skin in combination with oil. The heat penetrates deep into the fascia and muscle warming and relieving any tension.

Specific muscles can be targeted or whole body - this treatment is usually booked for a minimum of 60 minutes
