We run a group training program called the 8 week transformation, where we help people with weight loss, toning, improving fitness and gaining more confidence and self esteem.

I've just finished my 8 week programme and I've really enjoyed it. My goal wasnt to loose weight, it was to get fit again after spending nearly 2 years doing nothing and not knowing where to start in a gym by myself. The class timetable worked really well for me, I never thought I'd be a gym in the morning person but I've been converted! Everyone in the classes are lovely and the trainers are really friendly and helpful if you have any issues. As for the nutrition side of it, I understand why they ask what they do but realistically I probably wont keep up dairy and gluten free diet (although I did give it a go for the 8 weeks) but my diet is more structured and healthier after completing the programme plus I actually drink water now! I am probably the most lazy person on the planet, I have major family commitments that take up all my time and a 2 year toddler, so like a mad woman I decided to give this ago as the baby weight just was lingering and diet alone just was not working. Ok let’s be honest it’s hard work, 3 times a week and oh my god they work you hard. I didn’t make the 3 times a week all the time due to sickness and family commitments but I gave it a really good go. I lost over 1 1/2 stones and dropped from a size 16/18 to a size 14. I stuck to the nutritional advice all except a few cheeky nights out on the pop but I still achieved. There are other ladies there all shapes and sizes and many don’t stick to the diet but tone up so much they drop several dress sizes. The team of trainers are kind and thoughtful and always work with every person so that if you can not do something or have back or other problems they create a move to accommodate. hi, I have finished my 8week program and just started fit for life. This program really works but it takes hard work and determination to get the results you want. I dropped almost 3 dress sizes in 8weeks, I'm a lot fitter and healthy. My self confidence has come back after losing it all. Dan and his team are amazing and supportive. They have picked me up when I've been down, pushed me when I wanted to give up and been there just to listen. The classes are hard work but great and the ladies you share the experience with are awesome. There is no funny looks, no put downs. If we laugh it's together. Just completed my 8 weeks, I was very nervous about starting but you are made to feel very welcome by Dan and the other members. I felt comfortable in the fact that while I have been there its all ladies of different ages with different fitness levels, you don’t feel like the odd one out. Dan and Chris work us hard in helping us achieve our goals, support us in nutritional advice and amazingly its works in just 8 weeks. I can honestly say that I feel fitter, healthier more comfortable in my clothes able to focus on life and mentally much better. No session are the same, you never know what you are going to be doing until you arrive. I have enjoyed the 8 week journey so much that I have decided to stay to maintain and achieve further goals. This is a really amazing group. Dans sessions have so much variety and he really motivates you to try and try ! 3 weeks in of healthy eating and 3 sessions a week and I am 1 stone lighter and feel so much stronger and healthier. I can highly recommend!

i started with the HCF programme with Dan in January. i went into it with an open mind and didnt set any high weigh loss goals but just wanted to make a change to my fitness regime. It sure has done that and a lot more. I feel happy and healthy, my back pains gone, i feel stronger, i feel confident n brave in trying some difficult excercises which are strengthening my core. My family and friends are proud of me ♡ (some are still in shock n full of question lol) And im careful of not indulging in unhealthy foods and drinking alot more water. I am half way through the course now I have dropped over a stone in weight since Christmas and my aches and pains are reducing by the day. I've confirmed my own suspicions that dairy, gluten and alcohol cause my restless legs, bloating and catarrh and that I have not been eating enough protein for most of my adult life. My hair, nails and energy are now improving and I love getting up early to do Dan's 6.15am gym. Money, time and initially a load of effort and will power have been well spent! Thanks guys!xx 17th March 2019 8 week update. I started at 12.5stones/79kg post Christmas and am now wavering between 11. stone/71 kg and 10.5stone/69.8kg as of a week ago, though now my muscle is starting to tone and I actually have a waist again! It has not been a walk in the park (excuse the pun Catherine ) and some days the muscle ache combined with the food cravings, have made me want to fold, not to mention blue days but there has always been advice, if not immediately as soon as humanely and respectfully possible (we all have family and need down time). I was so stiff and in pain initially and very doubtful that 55 year old (suffering with back joint and bone problems) would benefit from the program. I decided to trust in the plan and as advised read and followed the weekly dietary and nutrition guidelines and when I hit difficulties asked Dan or Catherine and always got a satisfactory answer. My back, knees, shoulders and elbows are almost pain free now and I can now get up from the floor smoothly and hold a plank for nearly 2 minutes...most days . I've found the personal direction and encouragement in gym sessions exactly what I needed, firm but constructive when things did ache and the knowledge that I did what I was capable of with alternative exercises if I informed the instructor of my aches and pains. I am now updated with the latest healthy, nutritional information and have the videos to return to should my memory do a flip! If you are unsure about this program, please give it a go. Just finished my eight week introductory session and lost over ten pounds in weight and lost inches . I've been meeting dan for 2 sessions every day over the Christmas holiday, as well as being on a no carb diet. It was really hard at first but after 2/3 weeks I am loving it now! Dan is a genuine happy man that will do the very best according to your goals I was at ease straight away, I have only been with him for one week and already feeling the benefits not only physically by mentally Aswel.

Being a Vegetarian (limited options) + Indian (a lot of curries and fried food!) + 6 months old baby with C-section (No time to look after myself) : My options were very limited !
I put on good 12 KGs which I needed to shed. Food was delivered in less time than I was anticipating, barely managed to finish busting out a quickie before the delivery boy was knocking on my door. Needless to say, we both parted ways hoping not to see the other. His athletic prowess and ability to deliver my food with such a quick pace can only be attributed to the training he had received during his time with Hudson's Core Fitness.
