My car wouldn’t start in the early hrs of Sunday morning due to the freezing weather Conditions but I needed to drive to Bristol airport to catch at early morning flight to Dublin for my nephew’s christening later that morning. I was panicking that I would miss my flight, all other Portishead taxi’s did not open until 7, I couldn’t get through to any other taxi companies, however H&S’s Taxi’s (sidz cars) answered immediately and although he already had another booked fare at 7am he said he would be able to get me to the airport on time. I was so relieved, the service was fantastic, the driver arrived quickly ( a few mins from my call) ensured he got me to the airport on time and even offered extra assistance to help me to start my car upon my return. The driver was extremely friendly, great service, definitately went over and above to help me out when I would have been stuck and likely to have missed my flight and christening had he not been able to pick me up immediately. I will definitely use this service as my first choice of taxis in future and would recommend to others. Thanks for saving my day last Sunday-Sidz cars- so appreciated. More...

Absolutely amazing. This company goes above and beyond customer service, after booking an airport flight for early hours of the morning the price of the fare was the cheapest I could find. The driver so friendly and when I WhatsApp to say I would be two hours delayed they more than accommodating to pick me up at 03:00 rather than 01:00. I have been driving in the area over 12 years. I have made some long lasting friends through my job which is the best part of my Job. I have served the local community in Portishead over a decade.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked for all major Taxi Companies in the area in last decade but decided to start my own as I realised I can provide an excellent customers experience as I love my job and enjoy meeting new people.
