I am so relieved to have found Katie during a difficult time. I was really concerned about finding someone who could handle my big, nervous, lovely dog but I struck gold with Katie. My dog is putty in her hands! Katie is amazing and I always trust her with my 2 dogs. When my last dog walker/sitter decided to close her business, I was really nervous as she had looked after Lola since she was 6 months old, and my other dog Mylo is elderly, anxious as well as going a bit deaf and blind so he needs a special handler. Katie has done an amazing job of looking after our cat babies whilst we have been on our honeymoon. After being a little nervous leaving them for 10 days, and knowing Albie is quite shy, I couldn’t recommend Katie enough. I couldn't recommend Katie and Homeward Bound enough! We were so nervous leaving our kittens for the first time for 2 weeks while we were on holiday but Katie was brilliant, we received photos/videos/updates every day and she went over and above to make sure our cats didn't go without anything and their usual routine wasn't affected. Wow, what can I say! We were absolutely made up with the service received from Homeward Bound and have already recommended to friends and family. Our boys (cats) are pampered and we worry about them constantly, the thought of putting them in a cattery terrified us. We usually have family to call in and check on them when we’re away but we have just got married and of course all of our friends and family were at the wedding! I was so relieved when I got a business card from Helen Marie and she said Homeward Bound are great! It was so reassuring knowing they would be safe in their own home with all of their luxuries, and a genuine pet lover to look after them. From the moment we had our first consultation I felt totally comfortable and was not at all worried about “letting a complete stranger into the house” as a few people commented! Katie is a brilliant dog walker and takes her business seriously. From the moment I met her and she met my dog Litas I knew she was the right person to do daily walks and to, of course, trust my home keys. During our initial meet and greet Katie has shown all of her certificates, asked and noted all the things about the dog and was simply friendly and calm with my dog, which can sometimes be nuts. She is now taking him on daily 30 min walks and I could not be happier with the service she provides - professional, reliable and trustworthy. I cannot recommend her enough! More...

absolutely fantastic from start to finish! It was very last minute I contacted Katie and asked if she could look after my dog for 2 nights, she arrived at 7:30am the next morning more prepared than I was! it was my first time leaving Sky but I was at ease the moment I met her, I was sent regular updates and could tell Sky was on great hands! such a lovely girl and Sky clearly loved her! got back to a very happy dog! would definitely use her again and would definitely recommend her for all your pet needs! Katie looked after our 12 week old kitten Peggy after we had to go away for a wedding for 4 days. It’s always a bit disconcerting giving your house key to someone you don’t know well but from the start, Katie was really professional and put my mind at ease. She looked after Peggy amazingly and kept us updated all the time with videos and photos. The house was just as we left it and we immediately booked her again. Katie could not be a better pet-sitter. We had a special request as we were leaving out tiny kitten overnight for the first time (for our honeymoon) and didn't want her to be alone. Katie was incredibly professional and as soon as we met her we knew Dora would be in safe hands. Dora warmed to her straight away which meant we could relax knowing she was well cared for. We've been using this service for about 2 months now and are absolutely made up with Katie. Our rescue dog dexter absolutely loves her, his daily walks and playtime in the house if the weather is bad. Katie is wonderful with our little Cocoa. The pupper is overweight and awful with stamina so we have 3 30min walks each week (on top of normal walks performee by my mum) to help her gain more stamina, and I'm seeing a good difference in her already! Katie is super patient as Cocoa decides to just lay down and collapse multiple times per walk, but she's laying down less and less each time. Now whenever Katie comes to the gate Cocoa goes nuts because she knows it's time to go out♡ More...
