Hog & Ale experience catered for our wedding reception and we were very happy with the service they provided. The staff were friendly and helpful right from the initial booking right through to the end of the evening. The food was delicious and was commented on by many guests. We called in Hog and Ale Experience to cater for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding in September this year. They provided the food to go alongside the Ceilidh and it was just amazing! Catering for 100+, there was a hog roast, braised brisket and large hot dogs for the kids. The pork was beautiful but the brisket was something else! Absolutely delicious! Brioche buns supplied by the Penny Bun Bakehouse ,topped it all off beautifully. The guys were extremely professional, helpful and very keen to clear the rubbish etc away. I would 110,% recommend these guys, everyone commented on the delicious food. Top tip...get some good quality disposable containers for your guests to take remaining meat etc away, they will love you for it! More...

Well what can I say. We attended a 40th birthday party where Hog & Ale provided the food. I'm not normally a huge fan of hog roast if I'm honest, I normally find it a bit fatty. However the meat that went into these beautiful brioche baps was anything but fatty. It was moist, tender & melt in the mouth. That mixed with the amazing stuffing and sublime home made Apple sauce made this the best hog roast I've ever tasted. I may or may not have gone back for not just seconds but thirds. Oooh & this review would not be complete without mentioning the crackling. Again I normally find crackling too fatty & hard to bite through, but this stuff had a perfect crunch to it without breaking your teeth. I would 100% recommend these guys for all your events, they provide the type of food that makes me sad for vegetarians. On top of that the guys serving were friendly & funny. Our traditional Suffolk Hog Roast in a Brioche Bun!
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
Giving the client a choice of our local meats, whether it is 'Redpoll rump steak' or our 'marinated beef brisket' everything we give our customer we can guarantee its local!
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing their happy faces when their guests compliment our food for their event!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Im a Butcher by day, so it perfectly fits in with what i do!!
Why should our clients choose you?
I hand pick everything, from the meat to make the burgers, to the pigs at the farm. I will work with the clients needs and make sure that every last detail is perfect.
