Since this bar opened I have visited it a few times and whilst it is still very good I feel that the quality of drinks has declined over the years. I always order a PORNSTAR MARTINI.In recent times, the glass has only been 3/4 full.As is the shot of Prosecco it comes with.This makes me feel short changed when paying top dollar for less drink.I also feel that the cocktail itself has been watered down.The fruit juice is not as thick and tasty as it used to be.On a plus note, the staff are friendly, helpful, polite and professional.Our server carefully assisted us in choosing our nibbles that were gluten free.Regrettably our server forgot the glasses of water that we ordered.This is only a small point but becomes significant when drinking in a 4* star hotel as one expects better.With 20 Stories and the Ivy both offering similar experiences to Cloud 23 I feel that Cloud 23 could and should make an improvement in the quality and volume of drinks being served. What an experience! I'd heard that cloud 23 was good but I was still surprised by just how good it was! We entered through the hotel lobby and used the dedicated lift up to the 23rd floor. The security guy radioing ahead that we were on our way made me chuckle!The views are amazing from the bar. Even though the view is of the quoter side of city it didn't matter.The waiter was friendly and efficient. The drinks were excellent. Like REALLY excellent! The blackberry and gin based drink I had first was packed full of fruity flavour and was very refreshing. The popcorn cocktail was very sweet but also had a salty initial hit which was a really nice combination. I finished off with the donut cocktail which was delicious (though the donut was a little firm so it was either getting just a little past its best or had been stored in the fridge and so it hadn't got up to room temperature.)My friend and I had 5 drinks in total between us and they cost £66 which when you take into account the whole experience it was worth every penny. Went on a quiet evening and had a really nice time. Cozy couches, great cocktail menu and stunning views.
This bar is extremely popular, and can get very busy.
If you don’t like crowds, best to avoid going at peak times.

We were treated to afternoon tea as a Christmas present. The staff are friendly & make sure you have everything you need whilst not being to "in your face". They offered a box to take home 2 cakes we hadn't eaten but we managed to squeeze them in, and they still gave us a box containing two cakes to take home. The cocktail menu is different to the usual cocktails but they will also make one off menu. All in all a pleasant afternoon. Would definitely recommend. More 10 stars than 5 More...

You gave to visit it and you will understand. Words can not describe. Excellent choice for music! The view was simply amazing! I visited with my boyfriend on Saturday night and was so glad that we reserved a guaranteed window seat, as the view was beautiful. Was greeted with some little snacks and a mini cocktail each, and when we ordered our first drink we were impressed. Nice afternoon tea, food was tasty, staff friendly. Views were awesome, as you'd expect. Tables by the window have a fab view while you eat.
Only issue was very slow service. Minimum 15 minute wait for a drink. Considered ordering two drinks at once, since the cups were fairly small! Staff were busy all afternoon but it wasn't full in there at any point. Maybe there weren't enough staff on?

Amazing view and setting. Didn't book a table but we got in on a half an hour queue wait. Staff were very friendly and did the best they could. They were happy to take a photo of us. However service when we got up there was very slow. We had a cocktail each and then just orange juice before planning to leave. The whole thing definitely took more than an hour. The Chinese restaurant we went to after put the service pace to shame. But overall a good experience. 10% service charge was an extra £3 for us but happy to pay it. Amazing views and great cocktails high up in the Hilton Hotel
Went for birthday drinks with friends and really enjoyed the ambience.
There is a panoramic view across Manchester. Apparently great for viewing sunsets but even on our wet, cloudy evening, the view was great (see pics below).
Lots of choices of cocktails, wines and bubbly as well as light meals.
Highly recommend that you book in advance as is very popular.
Ask for a "window" seat.. two to three chairs set up next to window for viewing.
