We had a lovely time we only booked a couple of hours before we got there. When we arrived the carpark was full. They have another carpark available but because of traffic and road closures it took us an hour to get to it. A two min drive away normally. We mentioned it to the receptionist and we got a free room upgrade. Something we did not expect but it was a really nice touch the room was lovely and made our stay that bit more special. Retied here after a day of meetings and before an 8AM flight. The staff was friendly, but I did not have a chance to explore the area nearby nor did I have a chance to eat in the hotel, though the bar looked alluring. Moz on reception and Jack in the restaurant were great at their jobs polite, friendly, welcoming, thorough...they stood out to me. Booked a suite as a very last minute treat for my children and I to celebrate my 50th birthday together. Superb service from booking to checkout; delighted with the room on the 12th floor (wonderful views) and the thoughtful touches found on our arrival despite having only booked that morning! Super cocktails in the bar and friendly, helpful staff. Lovely to be able to relax in the health suite - although pool & jacuzzi were a little colder than comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice; hot and tasty. Great to be able to leave luggage at reception so that we could enjoy our last afternoon in the city unhindered. Well located and decent bar/restaurant. Rooms are pretty good. My only gripe is that whoever designed the car park must have driven a smart car, as it is ridiculously tight and it might be worth parking elsewhere if you have a large car

Recently stayed there. Room was nice and clean. Staff very helpful . Great place to relax in the pool, visit Leeds. Breakfast is ok with a mixed range of Choices of pastries, English breakfast, cold meat. However, in some instances , the staff don’t replace the breakfast items e.g cheese, pastries or fish or even the sauce like mustard ...on the breakfast buffet. When asked, staff will mention it’s finished. Not a great response especially if it’s on a daily basis. Tea is not served on table. You have to prepare tea and bring the teapot to your table. That’s not something u would expect to do in a 4star Hilton Hotel. If you go after 8am, limited choices. Hubby booked a suite as it was a treat for my birthday and we were meeting up with friends from leeds, arrived a bit early Friday but the lovely receptionist said we could store our luggage, came back at 3pm , room was fantastic and spacious, complimentary bottle of wine, sweets, cold juice drink, what a nice addition, omg loved the bath, so huge & deep, little toiletries, bathrobes, slippers all pleasing extras, wow the bed was so huge & comfortable, we had seating area & table, table had succumbed to a bit of wear & tear, breakfast was superb with loads of choice, loved the staff t shirts, found all the staff greeted us with a smile, were polite and helpful, would we come back? My Mum and I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Leeds City Centre. I took my Mum to see a concert as a birthday treat! On arrival we managed to get a parking spot onsite with no issue! The spaces were tight but it was fine as I drive a fiesta! Room was spacious, modern, bed was really comfortable and we had a cake and a birthday message for my Mum in the room! We used the pool and jacuzzi which were lovely! The pool water temperature was warm and it was very relaxing! Breakfast was delicious with a good range of food choices! Staff were all friendly, professional and helpful! Hotel was in a perfect spot only a few minutes walk in to the town centre which was great as we attended a concert at the First Direct Arena! Stayed here twice now on business trip. Hotel in great location for exploring Leeds shops and restaurants and more.Breakfasts are ok, average from what I’ve experienced. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. The price rate you get for the room varies widely, stayed here with 3 other colleagues and we had all payed a different price. Reception staff are quick and efficient.Gym is good.My only word of caution to anyone is the car park, soooo tight and scary.Just milli metres to spare, when going down the exit ramps, not a pleasant experience.In summary good hotel and I would return. I have stayed at the Hilton Leeds City a number of times and but this was defiantly the best. The room was clean and fresh and perfect for what we wanted. We arrived early than the stated check in time and the staff were happy to look after our bags until we returned at the correct time. Easy to reach and within walking distance from the outskirts. If parking nearby, make use of the hotel service that offers a discount in the nearby car park - Trinity, although mainly valuable if staying for a full day. The hotel itself has good meeting rooms and the restaurant food whilst limited, is of a good standard. If attending a meeting and there is a buffet meal, there can be a wait, depending on the size of the group as well as the range of food items. After an upsetting 8 hour drive, it was so refreshing to see a happy smiling face to greet me at reception. Thank you Aidan. The level of attention to detail from checkin to check out with superb. When we arrived in the hotel, our room was not yet ready, but the young man at the reception was very friendly and said he'd make sure it was in a short while. We decided to have lunch at the bar anyway, so by the time it we were done eating, everything was in order.|Our suite was nice and we especially enjoyed the premium internet we were offered.|Also, the hotel is near to the main railway station of Leeds. Must say you don't hear the trains, so no problems there. You can easily reach the hotel through the south entrance of the railway station. Take the stairs up and when coming outside, turn right. We came to Leeds for a quiet weekend away, relaxing in the pool, a little shopping and dinner out. We arrived at Hilton Leeds City and were greeted and checked in by Hashim, Hashim was so friendly and went above and beyond to help with every possible need. We stayed here for a 3 night city break. The location is great. Next to train station but no noise or smells from the trains. Good size room, with small bath but good shower. Iron and board, well stocked coffee tray. The bed was a good size but very hard, set my bad back off. You are only 2 mins walk to city centre and Trinity Shopping Mall. We didn’t book breakfast as £20 seemed a lot so I can’t comment on the quality. Hotel was warm, clean and the rooms were well maintained. We will be booking here again as we really enjoyed Leeds. We stayed here in November whilst attending a festival in Leeds.|For us this was an all round good pick: price wise we thought this was really reasonable for a city centre location. In addition the hotel offered parking at a cost of £15 per night.|We stayed in room 1106 and we were pleased with the room size and cleanliness. Our only criticism would be the heat in the room -despite turning the aircon unit down completely we were constantly boiling so had to open the windows.|Other than that, all positive. We were able to check in early, leave the car in the car park after check out and had no issues with noise from inside or outside the hotel. All excellent. I stayed at the hotel for lots of days because my girlfriend's company sent her for a short term job. After we booked the hotel for the first time (one week) we did the same another 2-3 times. In other words after our first time there, every time after we didn t look for another hotel except Hilton as we were very pleased. Even for the noise that most people complain we didn't have any problem. Breakfast was perfect as well as the fitness center for those who want to keep their training program on track. Something last, dear Hilton members, can you tell me where i can find these wonderful pillows :) I need one or two of these pillows for sure.cheers More...
