All I can say after that work experience I've been left alone actual without any real support to cope with stressful situations with challenging behaviour customers most of the time. Been offered online refreshing trainings. emails and gloves also sometimes phone calls from the office if I was lucky which was quite rare to support me with different types of customers. The management namely Alison Taylor, Newark branch should not be working in the care industry. She thinks it is alright to leave an elderly lady sat in front of a window half naked. When we do find a good live in carer, she removes them saying that the carer is too good, this conversation was told to us by the carer. So, she was replaced by a young girl. Ο πελάτης πληρώνει κι εσείς θα πάρετε λιγότερα από τα μισά για να σας τρέχει ο πελάτης που στην καλύτερη ίσως είναι ρατσιστής και θα έχετε και όλη την οικογένεια στο κεφάλι, η εταιρεία δεν θα σας βοηθήσει να βρείτε λύσεις, έτσι και δεχτείτε placement την βάψατε αν δεν σας αρέσει εκεί που θα πάτε και μπορεί να μην σας αρέσει γιατί τα σπίτια ποτέ δεν τα επιθεωρούν κι ας λένε το αντίθετο θα καθαρίζετε εκτός από τον πισινό του πελάτη σας και το βρωμοσπιτο του δεν θα μπορείτε να βγείτε το βράδυ που πολλές φορές θα ξυπνάτε γιατί ο πελάτης σας θα σας χρειάζεται συν τις 10 με 12 ώρες που θα δουλεύετε την ημέρα και όλα αυτά για το βασικό στην καλύτερη. Learn organization skills in the Kensington and Chelsea branch. Stop telling lies to clients regarding your skills . Get fully qualified carers not students working around their studies. Stop stating that carers are fully qualified because you gave a day course. Complex care for the very disabled cannot be catered for by this company. Because if their carers so much as made a cup of tea for an old lady next door to them , that according to Helping Hands Kensington & Chelsea means their able to go out and deal with anything even complex needs, which clearly their not. I am so pleased with the service as a whole. As a new client I was nervous about employing care staff for myself after a recent disability but they could not have been more pleasant and professional. My carer Adele is wonderful! I had a bad experience prior to contacting helping hands and I did with trepidation. Quality home care I is not easy to find but that's what I've found and I'm staying with them! This company has the worst communication skills I have ever come across. we changed to Helpinghands to look after my father and they promised us all sorts of things ,which have never materialised. We asked for set carers because he has dementia and gets confused if we have a different carers every few weeks, this has never happened in over a year and despite me asking for them to sort this they have not. Every time you ring them they say they will ring back, they don't. I now put everything in email so they can see that I am trying to contact them but they just ignore them. The staff turnover in the office/management side is incredible, never know who to speak to or email as they change every few weeks but nobody bothers to tell us. I am currently waiting to hear back from them regarding an issue that I bought to their attention nearly two weeks ago, not heard anything, not even an acknowledgement of the emails I have sent, this is the third day after numerous emails, phone calls ,live chats on the website ,they all promise someone will get back to us but nothing . They don't seem to care that the carer hasn't had a break in nearly a week (is entitled to 2 hours a day)even thought we have been asking them to sort this out,this is not good for the carer or my father.Now the carer has decided to leave in two days time and we dont know who is coming to take over.Avoid this company!!
