I couldn’t recommend selina enough!!!! Having a troublesome puppy I was at my whits end!!!! How she understands the psychology behind the dogs behaviour is actually shocking! !! She explained to me that the food I was feeding her had additives inside which was a factor and also taught me ways to change my handling which made such a difference!!! In the door, straight to the point. Addressed the problem immediately, no nonesense chit chat wasting precious time. I got easy to follow guidance and Selina didn’t stop advice & instruction for the duration of the session. Friendly, immensely knowledgeable and the best investment I’ve made in corrective behaviour for my dogs. Gave me so much info, backed up with examples of variations. Selina came highly recommended by a friend of ours. We we’re having difficulty with our rescue dog, Darcy, who is extremely nervous of new visitors in the house. Selina spent some with us to understand the issue before meeting Darcy, then gave advise while observing Darcy’s behaviour. She talked us through some training techniques/ behaviour corrections while at the same time making sure not to overwhelm Darcy. We found the session extremely helpful and are just coming to the end of week one of our tailored plan, we have already seen a big improvement in Darcy’s behaviour ☺️. We will be booking a second session with Selina shortly to work on Darcy’s separation anxiety and once Darcy’s learnt the fundamental commands we’ll book up to Selina’s “Moody Mutt” course. I recently called upon Selina’s services as my 19mth old dog found his voice and began attention seeking with a very loud bark during the evenings. Selina initially made a home visit and helped us to develop consistent behavioural strategies to help our young dog to self settle. Having a 4 year old dog with fear aggression and fear of his lead and walking makes life quite stressful. Selina has been brilliant giving lots of advice and providing us with a detailed 4 week plan. Selina is brilliant! We have had a 1-1 behavioural session where we looked at resource guarding. The thing I love most is how she looks at everything- considering all aspects of the dogs life and behaviour (not just one thing). The guide she gives is comprehensive, helpful and most of all simple. We made several little changes and family have commented on how much calmer he is than 6 months ago. My favourite thing is her focus on the dogs language and now I much more aware of how he is reacting to situations. Then we did a hoopers course which was fantastic! And we cannot wait for the next. Selina works with every dog and owner at their own pace. It was so much fun and I would recommend it to everyone. Selina will teach you so much about yourself and your dog. we had a one to one appointment in our home. in that 1 session selina showed us in simple easy steps how to get our puppies harness and lead on without the fights we were having with her! !! taught us what to do when she was jumping up our legs on walks.She also gave us ideas of different ways to feed her as she's not a food lover. Selina came to our house to support with training our excitable German Shepherd ready for the arrival of our baby boy. The training was fantastic and our 18 month old dog has never jumped up at anyone holding our son and walks beautifully next to the pram. I would definitely recommend x

Selina was recommended to us by a friend, she was very friendly and made us feel relaxed, she listens very well to what our needs was and came up with a plan and some training ideas and toys to keep the dogs occupied, it's only been one day so can't say if it will work but Selina was very polite helpful and genuinely wanted to help get our dog get sorted, I will updated our progress in time but I will definitely be recommending Selina.

Really helpful home training session with Selina. Jake responds really well to the tasks I learned and Selina was open to questions and expanding the training beyond the original reason for booking. Selina came for a home visit to train my two cavapoo sibling pups 5 mths old. I would definitely recommend her services.
She was very helpful and had a warm personality so I felt very relaxed , she listened to the issues we were having and gave me constructive feedback and advice on how to tackle them.
she brought with her a range of toys for the pups to try out to keep them mentally stimulated.
We tried out recall and tips to get them to toilet outside.
The dogs now come in straight from the garden when called , the toileting is getting better , it’s been 3 days now and I’m seeing improvements , got everything crossed I sort out the toileting!!
Selina sent over a plan and a review of what we discussed and also web links which was very helpful.
The pups and I are looking forward to our follow up session soon More...

We attended the 6 week puppy course, and really enjoyed each week. Selina has a way of explaining things e.g. how the dog see's each of our actions/requests. Certainly makes us think - we have this cute fluffy puppy just wanting to please us, yet we expect them to know not to do this, or do that. Its called puppy training but really its the owners who need training ! If you're prepared to put in the hours after class, and keep up with the training/advice, the pup's soon seem to grasp what you're expecting. My Shih Tzu pup can now sit, lay, paw, beg, both paws, and is very well socialised. We are still working on leave and stay but with the foundations Selina has given us we will get there ! Looking forward to another class in a couple of months to see what else we can learn :) More...

We have just finished a four week Back to Basics course which was really comprehensive and brilliantly supported with notes to help you keep it all you in head! We have also had 1:1 at home which was equally as helpful.

Selina was amazing. Non judgmental, friendly and warm. Listened to our situation and sussed our pup! 1st day working through our plan today & he’s done great, we suffer with a bit of reactivity especially bigger dogs, but then spent this afternoon with a lurcher husky cross & was pleasantly surprised using Selina tips.
