I am a qualified personal trainer. I am also a qualified nutrition coach.

I currently work a lot with clients who are looking to improve their health, work on their fitness levels and lose weight.

I am able to offer 1-2-1 personal training (limited availability), group personal training and online personal training, depending on your preferences.

Q&As

1) My role is to make the journey as simple and enjoyable as possible for my clients. This is the key to long-term sustainability. No extreme measures. No restrictive diets. No long, boring workouts. The focus is on slow, steady improvement in health and happinness that will last forever.

2) I educate my clients about food, which empowers them to take control of their nutritional choices. They know what to eat and why. Plus, they still get to enjoy all of their favourite treats.

3) I provide personal training that is optimised to get the best results with the minimum dose possible. I take the guess work out of fitness for clients, whilst also keeping sessions varied so that they don’t become mundane.

4) I keep a constant line of communication with my clients so that they stay on track. Adherence, accountability and social support are the three biggest factors in having a successful health and fitness journey.

Consistency and patience!

It’s about finding an approach to both exercise and nutrition that you enjoy enough to sustain long-term.

If you lose patience and start taking extreme measures, you’ll fall out of love with the process and consistency will drop.

Losing 8lbs in 2 weeks is impressive, but not as impressive as 1lb a week for a full year.

Helping people improve their quality of life.

Nobody wants to lose weight just for the sake of it. There’s always a deeper reason, for example building confidence, avoiding illness, improving mental health, being able to have children, being able to keep up with the children, coming off pain medication, etc.

When you help somebody hit those goals and are able to collectively celebrate the success, it’s awesome.

I enjoy the freedom of being in control of my own life.
It’s also a role where I can continually learn and experience new things.
Plus, I’ve done a desk job before and it’s not my thing.

Because I’m as committed to your results as you are. My efforts don’t stop once our session is completed. I’ll always be available to answer questions, send across information, keep you inspired, provide food ideas and recipes and support you in your efforts.

I’m a qualified NASM Nutrition Coach. This is something that I can offer as a standalone option if you’re just looking to improve your eating habits or as part of a personal training arrangement.

I’ve recently been involved in building an online personal training and nutrition coaching program. This will allow you to make the lifestyle changes that you want from the comfort of your own home, with time flexibility, whilst still getting the support and accountability from a qualified professional whenever you need it.

I’m a partner in a company called WixFit, based just outside of Bedford. We run group personal training sessions with a focus on getting results and having fun at the same time.
