Hello. I have had a number of years experience, owning or caring for other people's beloved pets. I currently am the very proud owner of a German Shepherd (spoilt rotten) and a little Maltese (also spoilt rotten....). I have fostered and home checked for local cat charities, owned and cared for other's horses, walked dogs for a local dog rescue organisation and I think it's fair to say that over the years I have encountered most breeds of dog from giant to tiny. I would like to offer my services as a dog walker, happy to do solo works, or if your dog is good with other pooches then in a group, maximum of 3. I live on the edge of a very large country park with miles of walks and I know it inside out. There are streams to paddle in, plenty of hills to keep the dogs (and me!) fit, or gentler walks for the older, or smaller babies.
I first used a dog sitter for my dogs after some pretty negative experiences leaving them in kennels whilst on holiday. I have ruined so many holidays by spending my time worrying if they were being loved & cared for, if they were eating or pining away for me. So many boarding kennels close up and go home at 4 o'clock and I often wonder what it must be like for those little pooches with no humans to cuddle or play with them on the long nights. I therefore am delighted to be able to offer pet sitting services for dogs and/or cats whilst you're away, providing love, hugs and company. I can do other things also if required, such as bring in the mail/milk , cut the lawn, pop some essentials in the fridge for your return. I don't have signs on my vehicle advertising the fact that you're away and someone is looking after your pets! I can offer emergency care in my own home, for example, a hospital stay or a wedding that you wish to attend. I am fully CRB checked , have Animal First aid and am fully insured. I am usually available at short notice as I'm aware that life doesn't always go to plan and you might need a little emergency pet assistance. I have my own vehicle and full licence and can do vet runs if required. Thank you so much for reading this. I look forward to meeting you soon!
