My Siberian husky went here today. I done lots of research into groomers and I needed one that I felt comfortable with as well as my dog. All the staff was fantastic! They treated my boy like he was one of their own and nothing was too much. They hid nothing from me and my dog was happy when I picked him up!! He looks and smells amazing!! Thank you all! We have two rescue OES who have had bad experiences at groomers in the past, but not anymore. Julie and her staff are fantastic, it is all about making sure the dogs are not stressed and are well cared for during their grooming session, which is long one for a full coated OES. I am so delighted to have found this grooming parlour and would highly recommend trying them, especially to anyone whose dog is a bit insecure or becomes stressed easily. Took our newly adopted rescue dog Cici in today and I have to say it was such a lovely experience for us! She's a Romanian street dog so has never been groomed in her five years of life, but she loved it! Before the groom she was able to have a good sniff around, meet other dogs in a relaxed way and everyone was so lovely and caring with her, they really do love all the dogs and their prices are very reasonable too! I don't think she wanted to leave as she walked dead slow all the way home Thank you all so much for making her first grooming such a nice experience, we'll see you again More...

I took my very anxious dog Jax to have his claws cut for the first time to Hair of the dog. Julie and her young assistant were fab with him as he was very nervous. They took the time to let him sniff around and settle in before coaxing him up on the table with plenty of treats. Peanut butter is a great distraction! Job done with the minimum of fuss. We have taken our bichon frise to many groomers before this one. He has always been scared. After finding this groomers, the dog goes in much easier, looks gorgeous when he leaves and has a little sleep from having a morning of pampering! Tempted to go in myself! I took my 6 month old Cairn Puppy for his first groom here after reading the good reviews and it being close by.. from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome by Julie and Chip felt right at home having a good play. . nothing was too much trouble and when I came to collect him he looked and smelt amazing and its reasonably priced! It was as though the dog was so relaxed atmosphere helped David be so calm and the no crates helps alot too.
I would definitely say worth every penny. I can't find any other holistic grommers with this much passion for the care of the dogs. 10 out of 10. Thank you so much
