Would highly recommend Gwen! So lovely and she pushes you which is what you need. She makes each session different and makes sure it's suitable for what you want to achieve I would definitely recommend going to her!

Started my fitness programme with Gwen and not only did I get much fitter I also lost lots of weight as well. At the time I was seriously overweight and worried about exercising; through Gwen's careful tuition I overcame this and ended up gaining confidence and exercising in between sessions.

I have been with Gwen for 6 weeks and feel better than I did. With all my ailments I was finding things difficult, I had almost no ability to walk and breathless all the time. Now I can walk around the block and managed to walk to the park. Gwen is such an easy person to talk to and I'm going to miss her. I am now on my 6th week with Gwen to help me achieve my goals of becoming healthier, fitter and tone up.
Gwen has a fantastic teaching style and has listened and worked closely with my needs and likes.
We have a weekly hour session in which a different variety of work outs are done!
The results are amazing! Already after six weeks I feel more toned and certainly feel healthier and even stand taller thanks to her detail in posturing and correctly working out.
I have now added in her Pilates class on a Monday to strengthen my core to continue to work towards my goals.
I shall be staying with Gwen to go further and hopefully be beach body ready for summer 2017.

Would highly recommend using Gwen! She really helped me achieve my goals and I gained a lot of strength and fitness throughout the weeks. She is very personal and fits the excercises to your needs. I contacted Gwen four months ago because, at the age of 60, I felt that my life was at a cross roads. Over the previous three years I had lost my enthusiasm for exercise and my fitness levels had dropped significantly. I talked to Gwen about my goals and what I wanted to achieve from our sessions and she really listened. She devised a programme which completely suited my needs and with her encouragement and support I have achieved more than I would have believed possible. I found Gwen to be extremely professional, she met with me beforehand to assess my needs and explain what she could provide for me and once we started training it was challanging but I didnt feel self concious. I was provided with plenty of material to support I me with independent work outs. Her private work out area is a great place to learn and I have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions as well as losing some inches and weight and gaining an understanding of what I can do and how to do it without it costing me for expensive equipment or gym memberships. I can't recommend Gwen enough. She created a programme to keep me interested and tailored it to my ability. She pushed me hard to reach my limit (which was actually further than I thought it was) and the results at the end were more than I could hope for. I had a bicycle accident with 2 operations and was very low. Gwen started with me in Autumn last year and gradually build my strength up. She has a correct balance of understanding the ability of her clients and certainly now how to inspire and then push the boundary. I am off to ski next week and signed up for L2P cycle in June. I have really enjoyed training with Gwen. I would recommend Gwen to anyone that is looking for a qualified and personable trainer. Gwen is motivating and fun to train with. Gwen listens to you and treats you as an individual. I enjoy running and have previously had a back injury. I rang Gwen with 3 weeks to go before taking part in tough mudder dublin very aware that if I didnt do something drastic I would be too unfit to take part.
Gwen put together a fantastic programme for me and yesterday I completed all 12 miles and 15 obstacles of tough mudder without injury (bar bruises). I am so chuffed!
My partner has been so impressed with what Gwen has done for me that he has encouraged me to continue my sessions with her post mudder.

I decided to register for a 20 mile obstacle race to set myself a challenge, but I knew I would need some extra help and thats were Gwen James came in. She gave me a 12 week training programme which included 1 session a week at her studio. This was tailor made especially for my requirements. I can't praise Gwen high enough, she pushed me when I wanted to give up and kept every session interesting and challenging. TRAIN HARD RACE EASY was one of Gwen's sayings, at the time I didn't believe it but on race day I was so glad that I listened and put in all the effort. Ive worked with Gwen for a number of years in her job as a theatre scrub nurse and she has always been very supportive, informative and provided me with tons of advice with regard to fitness and well-being. She helped me set realistic goals for my training and gave me lots of confidence and belief in myself to achieve success. As a concequence of Gwen's advice and structure strategy, I have lost over a stone in 8/9 weeks, and built strength and muscle. I have also dramatically increased my cardiovascular endurance and ability and I am aiming to enter either half or full marathons or 'tough mudder style' callenges in the very near future. Gwen's advice is awsome and realistic to individual needs. Theres no pressure, just high motivation and from simple advice, I have gone from being a 15 1/2 stone guy, who sits watching TV all day eating crisps chocolate and pizza, to a dedicated and motivated fitness fanatic. My next big challenge is to quit smoking and gwen has also offered advice and support with this.

The main thing I find most helpful is that Gwen will not pre-judge you, and if you fall and feel guilty that you've let yourself go , she will help you back up without prejudice and with no negativity.
