I am extremely upset, angry and frustrated feeling very disempowered and inconvenienced by Guardforce Security company is supposed to lock up a car park at my place of work at 7pm. I was at the car park at 7pm and it was already locked with my car still locked in the premises of Lee Gate Shopping Centre. I had witnesses who saw a man leave just before 7pm and Guradforce was most unhelpful and unsupportive with a very patronising comment from the person at the call centre that he "understands" my situation that their actions had incurred over a £100 in costs for me this night. We like to be able to help with problems or facilitate getting outside help. We deal with a lot of things: assaults, theft, stalking, fights. We interact with the police department and the fire department.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Security in the workplace ensures the safety of employees, client files, assets and confidential documents. Security in the workplace is important because corporations, businesses and government offices are often the target of sabotage, unlawful entry and theft
Why should our clients choose you?
Because having security guards in the workplace is often a safety measure that may deter criminals from targeting the business. These barriers often reduce the likelihood of threats. Security in the workplace is also important because it may reassure employees and make them feel safe with the extra protection while entering and exiting the facility.
Retail Security
Our specially trained and fully vetted officers protect property, stock and staff in the retail industry. We act as store detectives and help in reducing loss prevention which benefits the bottom line of our clients.
Our officers and management is trained in:
* Detecting theft and suspicious activities
* Security tagging
* Liaison with Police
* Handling difficult consumers
* CCTV monitoring
* Protection against vandalism
* And Communication skills and conflict management
Keyholding and First Response
Our Control Room is also responsible for the dispatch of our key holder and first response teams. For an annual subscription we take over the responsibility of responding to an alarm activation at your premises. Where your procedures require 2 persons on site we can likewise supply the second person to escort your employee.
In the event of an alarm activation our officer is dispatched to site. We normally expect to achieve alarm response well within the standards laid down by the police. Our officer will remain on site until the event is cleared. We can even arrange for an emergency boarding up or other service, so that the premises are secured and the incident dealt with prior to your attendance.
You will be contacted in accordance with your pre-agreed instructions. At all times our officer remains in contact with our Control Room and a report is prepared prior to site departure.
Mobile Patrol Services
If a dedicated Assignment Officer’s service can not be justified due to financial or any other then our Mobile Patrol service is highly cost effective. We identify with you the requirements and undertake a site survey and risk assessment. All the operations are monitored as with our other services by our Control Room.
Typically the security patrol officer will arrive at the site in a liveried high profile vehicle and park in a prominent position. They then undertake a full perimeter patrol of the property, observing all windows and physically checking all doors. If required an internal patrol is then performed. In the event of a security incident the officer will call the appropriate services and the Guardforce Control Room.
The customer is contacted depending on the pre-arranged instructions. In all cases an incident report is prepared and faxed to the client for the following day.
Neighbourhood Patrol
Our mobile group also provide Neighbourhood Patrol and Community Wardens’ services for local and rural communities. Our Neighbourhood Beat provides a specially trained officer for 8 hours or more at a time in a dedicated area.
Our Neighbourhood Mobile service is similar to Neighbourhood Beat but provided as a shared service with other communities.
Specially trained officers visit a neighbourhood several times per evening, using a vehicle equipped with sophisticated video capture equipment. Once there they undertake foot patrols in one or more agreed locations. They may receive information for the local authority, liase with community groups, and undertake anti vandalism/hooliganism duties in accordance with their prepared instructions.
