Can anyone help me we had greener living heating installed and yes problem after problem and now they've gone bust the questions are what happens to our warranty who will carry on with repair anyone with advice out there with answers wished we never never heard of this company

The worst company I have even had the misfortune of dealing with, avoid at all costs! Do not believe the 'recent' positive reviews which are from installations dated over a year ago an obvious attempt to cover up a host of negative reviews.
They installed an 12kw Samsung air source heat pump and 6 new radiators into our property in January 2024 and we have had nothing but issues since. The system was not safe to use! The company did not complete any of the legally required electrical tests and cannot provide an electrical test certificate even after asking for over a month. 1 week after installation the system stopped working. After a big fight to get someone out to our property (whilst it was -2 outside with 2 young children) it was found that a wire was incorrectly fitted within the air source heat pump which caused the wire to arc and melt in place. Something that should have been picked up with an electrical test and could have caused a lot of damage to our property.
Not only was the electrical safety of the system called into question but the actual efficiency of the system was far below what was promised by the sales man and within the system design sent across. Don't believe the hype, you will end up paying more for a house which will be colder. We went from paying £8-£10 a day heating the house to paying £20+ with the heat pump.
Something I have also seen in many other reviews is around the quality of the workmanship, they left holes in walls, plaster missing, burnt coving due to soldering pipes in place, fitted trunking that was too small, didn't attach trunking to walls and didn't even insulate one of the main pipes going into the heat pump!
I have been fighting with them for over a month since I raised a formal complaint against them and we are at the stage now where they do not respond to email and actively dodge our calls. We have had to result to go to the MCS & HIES to try and get a resolution.

We always wanted to get quickly onto this "Go Green" journey after having Solar PV Panels were installed last month. After a lot of research, I decided to install ASHP and this market is very flooded with so many companies and salesmen with different views. I was slightly reluctant to go with Greener Living initially after reading the reviews, but I could soon follow and relate to what Stephen and Callum had advised about the solution, I have decided to go with them on this journey. They are not the like any other salesmen trying to sell their products, they are knowledgable and friendly professionals trying to do the right thing for their customers. THey have explained me on how the whole system will work and gave me a detailed design. They have let my decision down, the complete process right from third party heat-loss survey to the pre-install checks happened within a week and the installation happened in the following week. The 3-men installation team arrived at 8 AM on the installation day and very very thourough and tidy in their work. They have replaced all the radiators in the house. They have completed the work in 2 days and did a detailed walkthrough of the work they have done and how the system will work. Everything works like a treat and didn't encounter any issues since install, so far so good. However, if I experience any issues on this journey, their customer service is very good too. Save yourself the pain and skip past this outfit
Do not use this company at any cost, they damaged my property so badly it has cost me two thousand pounds to put it right, the system they installed has been installed incorrectly and to a very poor standard.
Once they have your money and I paid upfront in full they don’t want to know, this company should be investigated by watch dog.
They promise to come Back and fix things and then steal items from your property and then do not answer the phone when you want them back. If you try to ask questions about them in social media they have staff on most of the heat pump sites and they just delete comments against them. The only option with this outfit is small claims court.
SAVE yourself the pain and don’t bother with this company they are so poor it is embarrassing to the trade.

The customer service in this company is shocking . They are so quick to take your money and install the system but any problems after installing they do not come out . We had a leak for weeks and no underfloor heating . In the end I had to get another trades man in to sort it . Forget the data grant to they won’t come in and get the monitor attached . If you are about to use this company to get the RHI grant, my advice is don't!
They started my installation in February.
I have had teething issues including a dented tank, leaks (first one was inside and was sorted the next day, but second one is outside and there is less impetus to sort that), bathroom still not connected, 4 of 8 radiators still not working, pipes laid from the pump across my kitchen door step, redundant pipes and tanks not removed etc etc. I am told that they can fix the issues but not until April, but they want me to pay the remaining £2000 before the issues are fixed. I am happy to wait until then if they will give me the number to register with RHI to get the government grants started, but they won't give me the number until I have paid the remaining £2000 nor will they get to me to complete the job before the end of the month.

I lived a month in warzone. They've started wrongly to try to put the pump in front of the house, which is not allowed. I've called the office and they've stopped them.
The team abandoned the pump in my reception room, destroying some house appliances. Dumped rubbish in my front garden. Took 2 weeks to organise . Lied several times to be ready, didn't come blaming fuel shortage. The team that came out the pipes, not boxing them and the cables. The old holes and the new one weren't filled. The scaffolding team hasn't arrived, another 2 weeks. They've put wrong scaffolding. Had to come again.
Finally, the pump was fitted. No manual, no repair of damage, only wanted the grant. Never cared what damage they do disrupting lives and ruining house, not cared about reputation. All this happened because they've detected my accent. Racist and unprofessional highest degree.

The rep Time Clark promised my fiancé that they were a professional organisation. Little did we know that he was just “selling” and not being honest. The fitters bodged the work putting the pipe work in stupid locations causing terrible damage to her house. They flooded the kitchen and used our bath towels to mop up their mess (they didn’t ask). They left floorboards insecure and dangerous. They’ve breached health and safety by putting hot pipes next to handles that I will burn myself on (I’m blind). They’ve wrecked her house. This company flooded my kitchen and wrecked my house with their unprofessional fitters. They fitted 4 out of 10 radiators of the wrong size or type. They didn’t leave any instructions on how to set the controller leaving me without heat for 4 days - I’m an OAP. Even now, 5 days after my first complaint my lounge radiator doesn’t work. Their cowboy workmanship has taken thousands off my house value. Their rep, Tim Clark, refused to help because I left negative feedback on Trustpilot!!!!, The installations manager, David, promised to call me yesterday but I’m still waiting. Another manager, Ray Cook, gave me a rollicking for leaving negative feedback. This company is run on bullying tactics and shoddy workmanship. I’ve asked for a director to get involved but so far nothing. I’m seeking extensive compensation as I will need to get proper plumbers in to put right all their bad workmanship. The first appointment with the original assessor went fantastically and me and my partner could see a long term financial benefit so we agreed for a survey on the night. The following visit.. the manager was 20 minutes late due to traffic and we were a little nervous as we both thought “here we go” but credit where credit is due.. right the way through greener living showed us their full attention and professionalism. The installation took a day and a half as they wanted to come back to ensure the system was balanced correctly. One of the radiators was not getting enough pressure and they came out a week later to resolve this minor issue and kept us both updated via email and telephone calls. Before we were spending £60-£70 a month on gas and now that’s obviously gone all we’re left with is a minor increase on our electricity bill which was worked out for us before we went ahead. Ours was a sizeable installation- replacing 13 rads plus adding one, Mitsubishi Ecodan 11.2KW (Output) Air Heat Pump, Mains Pressure Hot Water Cylinder, Controllers and Monitoring Equipment. All up and running well. I’m glad I trusted Greener Living with up front half share of the necessary (£400) Energy Survey - the £200 was returned on purchase as promised. Loving the Mobile App, providing remote control, monitoring and reports. The full cost is required on installation and the RHI payments (organised by Greener Living), are as agreed, set up for quarterly payments over 7yrs( £1,440pa in our case, increasing with CPI each year). The extra £1,610 from Ofgem for the Monitoring System will be paid half with the first quarterly RHI instalment, half spread over the 7yrs quarterly payments. Getting output of approx 3 times input power (COP = 3) at present. Expect this to increase as weather warms up. We’re happy with the lower temp rads and hot water is fine. Note the weekly short spell of additional power used to raise the hot water to 60C (Legionella prevention). The main installer and the electrician both provided their mobiles for response to queries. Having decided to have a heat pump fitted, Greener Living Ltd were a local company that gave a fair price. We were really pleased with the sales team who gave good advice and were not just pushing for a sale. Two days before the installation, an engineer visited to ensure we were happy with all that was going to happen. He walked around the house with us, explaining al the work. On the day of installation, the team turned up at 8AM and worked solidly until the job was finished and working. Every aspect of their work was professional. We were very impressed with the standard of work. All equipment and people arived as required including scaffolding and electrician. The work was shown to us as it was completed and we were asked if we were happy with each aspect. We have no problem in recomending Greener Living to anyone thinking of getting rid of their gas boiler and replacing it with a pump instead. More...

In October. My first introduction to Greener Living was Richard Hughes, who explained all I needed to know and then gave me time to consider the information and to do a little research into the Heat pump myself so NO pressure selling, after my decision to go ahead was made it went along quite fast. The insulation team were Paul and Joe, very polite and pleasant and cleaned up after themself as they went along so I had very little to do after they left. My home has never been warmer, I have quite an old house and it's never had a radiator in the kitchen so its always been a cold room, and now still no radiator in but the radiator from my dinning room warms both rooms beautifully. I wholeheartedly recommend an Air pump heat exchange. Mostly definitely. More...
