Dylan has left my patio in a terrible state, he says it's level with a 2-10mm fall, but when it rained 3 days after they finished on the 3rd of May, it was heavy, there was a massive puddle lying on the patio, it is definitely not level with this fall he says there is, he put up a side fence of concrete posts and dwarf wall the second day which had to be ripped out on the third day as they weren't spaced or running to the proper level nor in line with existing fence, when I contacted him on WhatsApp with the video of the lying puddle, he said "well you wanted it level" were in fact the pavers are running to the middle from 2 ends causing the puddle, the wooden fence panels were left buried in the ground at the last stretch of the fence which will cause early rotting of the wood, he sent me his final bill while he was outside my house and I was in the house by a link in a text message, when I opened the link he was looking for another £3000, I had already paid him £1000, so I went out to challenge this bill as the total was supposed to be £2350, he said it was for the extra materials he supplied, £1650 for some sand, cement dust and brick, we had words about this excessive amount and I went back in, he then sent me a new text with a £2000 bill, he said the last one was a mistake. He took off in a tantrum leaving his men to finish the patio without checking their work. He now is refusing to come and fix the patio, seems like a very childish man. More...

Dylan took on and totally transformed an absolute mess left by another "contractor" whom we initially gave the benefit of the doubt in the hope that the work would improve. Before starting the job, Dylan and Gerard spent a lot of time with us discussing the work and our options. We had total confidence in them. Similarly we were always kept informed and involved throughout the job. We are delighted with the result. I booked Dylan back in June to complete paving and artificial grass in my back. I also paid a 50% deposit. After 4 months of continual delays and changing excuses along with several missed start dates where no reason was given he just didn't show up. Eventually after two further missed start dates Dylan informed me that he did not have my supplies and no money to buy supplies or return my deposit and he said I wasnt the only one in the same position. My deposit was only returned after I threatened legal action. I would suggest that if you do decide to use Dylan then please buy your own supplies and do not give him any money up front. More...

Green Leaves took on a job for my parents in Newcastle which involved a range of works including demolition of walls, removal of vegetation/tree stumps, site levelling, topsoiling and seeding. This work was competitively priced as Dylan was always so prompt in responding when discussing prices/scope of works. He completed several site visits to ensure all parties were happy to progress. During these visits Dylan was great at advising on additional skills his team had that could add to the works and my parents ended up instructing more works including wall building and hedge planting. All the works were delivered in a timely manner, to the upmost professionalism and quality and I couldn’t recommend Dylan and his team enough. Not living near my parents Dylan ensured I was always kept up to date with progress and aware of any issues emerging in a timely manner. These are hard working fellas!! They went above and beyond what I ask for! I know my crazy paving was testing to say the least but for these fellas it was just like a piece of art, so well thought out and laid. ......unreal job!
